I finally had a chance to get in to see Chris. I was already impressed at her work on my friend's nails, so I knew I was in great hands.  Chris is very knowledgeable about nail health and polish technique, which is something I have never discussed with a nail tech. That alone tells you she knows her stuff.  She was very friendly and hilarious! My manicure experience here was one of the best I've had in years! I've definitely booked future appointments, as she's in high demand.

I've been trying to get to Chris for 2yrs. Saw her amazing transformations on Instagram and knew I needed change. I got a last minute appt accommodated and i went in. This wasn't my 1st time with a black nail technician, but 1st time in Charlotte finding one. From the time i walked in, she treated my like family. Treated me like I've been a customer for years. I appreciated that. She educated me on my nails and the cons of what others have done wrong with my nails. I was awakened. After her magic was done, my nails felt lighter, looked fabulous and i finally felt a sigh of relief because I now have a new nail home. She does fantastic work and she cares about us as a person, not just our nails. She is relatable and so very down to earth. I recommend most definitely.

I have never written a review and I never thought my first one would be a one star but I feel the need to warn others who stumble across this place like I did. I would give it zero if I could. I get my nails done frequently, have been for years and I have NEVER had my nails last less than a week. The second day after getting SNS with tips, they were already lifting at the edges. By the third day two had came off. One week exactly from Wednesday to Wednesday, all the nails were ready to come off. I should have known this would happen. The technician who started my nails had acted as if she had never done SNS, using the wrong coats, uneven, etc. Another technician had to come over and fix them. I did not say anything because I am patient and I still tipped over 20% because the nails did look good at the end and I assumed they would last. What a mistake that was. I am extremely regretful of finding this place and letting the positive reviews push me into going. This would not be a huge deal if they had good customer service, but when I called there was no "Hello (name of salon)" the woman that answered literally said to me "Who is this?" That is the number they have posted, calls should be handled more professionally and if not professional at least do not be so rude and hostile. I would not have posted this review if they had been accommodating to fix the problem. I had to go to another salon today to get my nails done. Huge waste of money.

Chris is the best in town! I absolutely love everything about my nails, from the length to the design! Oh and be prepared to receive 5 star service in the salon, they have Mimosas on deck.
