GO SEE ASHLEY ROGERS!!! Hair colorist GOD! Her talent is unreal!!! I personally didn't enjoy my color when I went to the owner a year ago but Ashley is the WAY TO GO.

I visited Brush to fix a bad haircut experience from a Wethersfield studio. I have a severe inverted bob haircut and the previous stylist didn't know how to properly do this type of hair style. There were jagged pieces... it was heavy... a disaster.

Ashley was very professional and knowledgeable about my thick hair type and funky style. She took a fraction of the time the previous girl took to cut my hair. She then put some serum in it and blow dried it (which is no small feat with the amount of hair I have). It was so shiny! After blow drying and flat ironing my hair, she went back in to check her work, and we decided to bring up the back even a little higher (I like it VERY angled). My hair feels sleek, looks shiny, and has so much more movement than before.

Just be clear about what you want, and if you do want something special, communicate that ahead of time so she can make sure to block off more time for you.

Overall, great experience. I would go back.

From the moment you walk into Brush you can tell that Lindsay cares a lot about her clients and the atmosphere of her salon. The salon is adorably decorated including weekly deliveries of floral arrangements (how cute is that!) and makes you feel comfortable right away. Lindsay did a beautiful job coloring my hair. She consulted with me for a long time, both by phone before my appointment, as well as in the chair. I was nervous and unsure what path to go down since my hair is quite damaged and she put my mind at ease by clearly explaining the process she was going to take to prevent any further damage as well as helping to strengthen it during the coloring service. I loved the results and the whole experience getting to visit with Lindsay. She was fun and knowledgable. Thanks Lindsay! :)

Have you ever been to a salon where you walk in and you know it's going to be a wonderful experience? Your new go to salon? That's Brush! I absolutely love this salon, the owners Lindsay and Ashley are so professional and welcoming. They take the time to really get to know there client in order to ensure there hair and makeup needs are met. They have a way of making you feel like family with each visit. Any time a friend asks me where I get my hair done I can't help but brag and refer them to my salon. I am a huge Brush fan for life! :) Keep climbing that ladder girls you are a hit!!

I'm a transplant from CA. What's the hardest thing to find in a new place? A great stylist! Well, I found it in Lindsay. She does amazing color and is NOT scissor happy :). And to top it all off, she's a ton of fun! I won't go anywhere else!
