So far so good. All I can say is they have to be the fastest braiders in the metro area. I see why so many people come back to them.
The shop is clean & the restrooms are as well. They were very professional with great conversation & appropriate things on the TV.
I've been coming to Braid Heaven for several years and have ALWAYS been pleased with the service and quality when getting my hair done.
The sisters/family are always on schedule with their appointments and, to me, it doesn't seem like it takes the length of time to get my hair done as it does.
I trust Shelly doing my hair and wouldn't trust anyone else to braid my hair. The longest I've kept my braids in was 3.5 months! That was my doing. Some people can last 2-4 months depending upon how quickly your natural hair grows. What I WILL say is that my hair has NEVER fallen out (around the edges/temples) nor has anyone else that I've known to get their hair braided.
These friendly ladies have their own style that you can pick another customer out of a crowd. I am always complimented on my hair (even at 3 months - lol).
It's wonderful to know that I can sleep in 30 more minutes, in the morning, knowing I don't have to deal with my hair.
I would strongly caution anyone thinking of using this salon to think about it long and hard. I had micro braids done May 20 and returned to have them removed about 4 weeks later. The install seemed fine but when I returned to get them removed my real hair was cut off while the braids were being removed. My hair was cut while the braids were in a ponytail holder. How do you know where the real hair ends if you don't cut individual braids???? I thought maybe this "stylist" knew something I didn't so I allowed her to proceed. My hair in the front was at least 8 - 10 inches long BEFORE I got the braids. It is now shorter than the average length of bangs, no more than 3 inches max! In addition my hair is very uneven all over after this unplanned or asked for hair cut. Also the pain of having the braids ripped from my head was unreal. There was no care taken at all. Please avoid this place if your natural hair is important to you AT ALL.
