I just received a mini facial here and it was lovely! Its so professional and the student was very knowledgeable and did a wonderful job! I am definitely going to be booking again

I asked a friend for a recommendation because I wanted to get a facial.  Without any hesitation, Body Logic is who she recommended.  I trust this person, so I began looking at their website to schedule an appointment.

The website outlined their services and price menu. Pricing all very reasonable.  The one draw back was the website wouldn't allow me to schedule an appointment online. Sigh

When I called to schedule my appointment the young lady was so nice and got me setup for the next available appointment.

When I got to my appointment they were getting a television installed.  The staff was so apologetic for the noise and just the "chaotic" environment. It didn't bother me AT all.  I was just trying to find the bathroom! Lol

As I waited , the owner (Renee) chatted with me.  She even told me about a new restaurant.  Right up my alley! Lauren , the receptionist was so friendly and provided me information regarding who would be performing my facial.  Such a sweet staff!

Cydney did my facial.  She's so, so knowledgeable!  Blew me away!  She educated me on so much throughout my facial.  I could tell that she really enjoys being a student here and loves what she does. She did an amazing job!

Some have asked if this is similar to Aveda. I imagine that it's about the same. Body logic offers an array of services performed by  their by students .  My focus right now is to develop a good skin care regimen.  This visit to Body logic certainly help jumpstart that process!

I came across this little gem one day because I needed a scalp massage and deep conditioning for my hair. Over the years, family and friends will tell you to check out a beauty school but you never do because who really has time to take a chance. There are some things one must consider or keep in mind when going to a beauty school.

First, all the services performed are by students who are closely supervised by instructors who've been in the industry for years. Secondly, the price is quite affordable and budget friendly. Thirdly, it's a thin line between how you think the style should turn out "in"your head versus how it actually turned out "on"your head. Lastly, patience is definitely a virtue!

From my personal experience here, I love Mrs. Traci and the young ladies. They offer massages and microdermabrasions, chemical peels, hair extensions, makeup and facials (which are lovely by the way)! The reason for the 4 out of 5 stars is because I love my scalp massages done a certain way and if Mrs. Traci doesn't do it, it won't get handle right. I would recommend this school over the others here in Birmingham and to my knowledge they currently have a Groupon special I think.
