I have always left this place with a haircut I'm happy with. I never ask for too much when I get my hair cut, but the stylists have always given me what I've asked for. My last visit was with Erin who did an amazing job on my hair, and was super friendly!

DO NOT BUY ANY PRODUCTS FROM THIS SALON!!! THEY CLAIM to have a ONE month return policy which is posted NOWHERE in the salon (I checked). I have been a longtime and very devoted client here (12 plus years) and have never brought any products back or complained. Today, I bring back in the 2  of the 3 defective products that I have purchased only hoping for an exchange, as anyone would expect in the very least, and was told "no it has been too long".  So, now I'm stuck with a 2nd defective Redken guts volume spray.  Save your money and buy products elsewhere where returns or exchanges are welcome because this salon doesn't stand by their products or their faithful longtime clients :( .

This is my new go to hair salon!!  I recently moved back to the Birmingham area and the stylist I went to for years had moved away. I am extremely picky when finding a new one and had tried a couple of recommended salons and just did not find the "wow factor" that I expect from an experienced stylist until I booked an appointment here. They put me with Tyson and I absolutely loved her. I have also run in for a blow out and saw two other stylists that were fantastic!!

Was in Birmingham for the birth of first grandchild. I had lost a lot of hair during Covid and the death of my Father. I've been wearing wigs out in public for the last 9 months. I cut my own hair short, just to make it easier to deal with. Since then, my Dermatologist put me on oral minoxidil and minoxidil/finesterade combo drops for my scalp. My hair is growing back, just very curly. I decided to get my, now growing out, hair cut.
I went to Yelp and when down the list of salons to call and make an appointment. The third salon, Salon 21, had an opening the next day at 12:30. Lauren Womack really took the time to understand what had happened to my hair and what style I wanted. She made my first experience in a hair salon in almost a year and a half great. The salon is large, clean, and welcoming.

Do not come here if you're a man looking for a decent haircut. It's funny, cause over the phone I asked for an experienced stylist, and frankly, I don't think they took that request into consideration at all. Still, I showed the girl a picture of exactly how I wanted the cut, a picture taken back maybe a month before this appointment. I was hoping that these people would know about hair since they have decent enough reviews online. I was very wrong. What I received was an absolute abomination of a haircut. Nothing even close to the picture I had shown. I'm pretty sure the stylist knew that she had messed up too, since she decided to cut certain areas too short from the beginning and at that point the only "solution" was to keep trimming other areas in order to have my hair regain some type of shape.

I'm not interested in coming back here ever. I suggest  having the stylists take an intensive course on how to cut men's hair.
