Waited 30" after scheduled appointment for pedicure. Very rude female technician was repeatedly insistent that I get the $50 pedicure. Because I would not upgrade to the $50, she was gruff, smart-alec, not gentle, and gave a scanty pedicure. Avoid Sophia.
David is the absolute best nail technicIan. He has been my go to for several years. I moved 45 minutes away and still travel back to see David every three weeks. He makes sure that my nails are always healthy. He currently does acrylic nails for me and they are thin and natural. He and his wife, Cindy are experts in dip nails too. I would love to have either one of them for a pedicure because of the time and attention they give me as an individual. This salon has improved more and more over the years!! I have been coming for 5 or more years. My sister asks for David time when she comes to visit. I tell everyone to book appointments at this salon for a highly professional experience. David and Cindy are my highest recommendation!!
My daughter and I made an appointment to have acrylic nails done at blue sky. We picked them because they are local and have some decent reviews. We won't come back. Kelly kept trying to get us to do gel polish on acrylic nails, which is ridiculous. She kept telling me that my nail polish would be chipped within three days and that just isn't true for acrylic nails. Kelly did my daughters nails, and within three days, four of the nails had popped off. I contacted the salon, and they said I would have to pay to have them redone. David did my nails and they are thick and separating from my natural nails. I'm going to have to go to someplace else to have them fixed and done right.
