Blondie A Salon in Portland, OR

I have long, blonde, color-treated hair.  I get compliments on it all the time. When I tell people it's colored they can't believe it. When I tell people it uses to be black black they still can't believe it. Then I tell them my colorist took me from out-of-box-black to platinum blonde, within 2 years they double-down on their I can't believe it's. I'm not done. Then I tell them I dyed it black again. I know. Right?

So by now, my colorist is properly exasperated with me for destroying his creations. I honestly don't blame him. He spent hours on me due to the care and precision of formula; he is an artist.

Who is this génie de colour?  His name is Oscar Beltran. He also gives amazing precision haircuts.

2023 - Review # 14

Really unhappy with my haircut from Charles. I wanted a pretty, conservative, affluent bob cut and got a prison shag.
He apparently wasn't wearing his hearing aids and either didn't hear, or didn't care what I wanted.
He also dyed my roots black and orange so it would look like I had low class druggy grow out.
I asked him to fix it, and he put another coat of black dye on. Like he didn't care at all that I hated the way it looked.
I also told him I didn't want my hair rip cut. That didn't stop him from randomly grabbing fist fulls of wet hair and hacking off six inches of once healthy hair.
It will probably take at least a year to grow this out. I will also have to pay for color correction at another salon.
I hate looking in the mirror. This cut added age and weight to my face. Charles is not a professional.

Have been getting my color and cut here from the fabulous Ashley for 4 years now. She is fantastic. I always leave with a great color that lasts an incredibly long time without fading and on point grey coverage. Her prices are very reasonable. The salon has a comfortable, Bohemian feel. As an example, an assortment of artwork from featured artists adorns the walls. Every month the place looks different but has the same laid back vibe. It is also a block from several great coffee shops.

Just had my hair done with my new favorite hairstylist! I was struggling to find a stylist who I like and who's skilled with doing blonde highlights on naturally blonde hair until I met Ron Kotkins today. He's the best hairdresser I've had since I lived in California. Your first haircut is $10. He's a very talented hair stylist, has been doing hair for over twenty years. He is skilled with cutting/styling all hair types (men and women), I noticed as he was finishing up with a woman right before me who had a completely different hair type than me. If you are in a hurry, he will have you in and out of the salon in no time yet still looking polished. On top of all of that he has a very outgoing and kind demeanor, I had a really interesting conversation with him.

Ron has a loyal fan base for a reason. He is down to earth, yet flexible. I notice he honestly listens to his clients.
