Been going here a long time! Last time I went, one of the owners decidead to charge me $50.00 for dip! Ive been paying 45.00 the entire time. I paid it! Went back today , said 50.00 again! I asked why everyone else was being charged 45.00 for the same service and mine was 50.00. Couldn't answer me!

I have been getting my nails done here for more than 5yrs now and haven't had any complaints. Lately it has been hit or miss with my nails' quality. Today was my last time going. My color came off as she was doing the top coat. She see's it and so do I but she continued and instead of trying to fix it, she is done and says thank you. So if you think this is ok and you are done then fine. I am done. And I am never returning!
I'm kind of torn on my review for this place. Ultimately, the staff were absolutely lovely -- super friendly and always with big smiles -- and they seem to interact very well with all clients. It's rare to see this in a nail salon these days and I have no doubt people come back because of the staff. Also, when I look back now, about five days since I visited, I can say my pedicure looks pretty good. I should also note the salon was packed when I walked in -- this often suggests it's a decent place!
So this review is really 3.5 stars......
That being said, there were some concerns I had during my actual visit:
- there was a suuuuuper strong chemical smell the moment I walked in -- incredibly overpowering
- I had made a last-minute booking for 5pm but wasn't actually "attended to" until close to 5.30pm
- the pedicure chairs were a bit old and rickety/rundown (but the massage itself still worked well enough)
- the salon tech was very generous to offer to cut out my ingrown toenail and did so with expertise (I was most grateful!) -- but she also really dug/cut into my skin and my toes were bleeding for a bit ... ouch!
- I don't know how sanitary the utensils are that were used -- the salon tech pulled them straight out of her apron pocket rather than a sterilized jar
Love Beyond nails!! Mimi is the best ever...I feel like I've been everywhere and won't go anywhere else now. She does amazing nail artwork also!
