Beautiful People Salon in Canton, CT

Had my first visit last week. I went in for a haircut. My stylist - Lana, was so gentle and she did a great job with my haircut. I didn't have more than 1hr for this appointment (evening grad school) and they were very considerate of my time and schedule while not compromising on the quality of service.

This was the worst cut I've ever had, and it was the owner Louise. Without asking me or telling me she was doing it, she put a toner in my hair that turned it gray. I had spent two years growing out my beautiful natural white hair and now it's destroyed,  thinking of  filing a lawsuit.

I am a true supporter of " client for life" and I stand by that because I've been coming here for over 30 years. No matter where I live in the Country I make it a point when I'm back in Ct to support Louise and her staff. My last visit I had the most amazing, relaxing, luxurious facial I've EVER had with Katie!!  Trust me I've had spa & hair services around the world. So Don't let the "small town" of Cromwell fool you, Katie is a gift to her profession. BP is family to me and some of the same stylist have been here since the first day I walked in.

Absolutely love this salon. Everyone who works there is not only professional, personable and nice but they are all talented. Between my sisters and I, we've had our hair done by the majority of the stylists and have never had a bad experience. Their use of color is so natural and beautiful. Plus, they use and sell  some great, quality products!

COVID-19 Note: they have strict rules in place to make everyone feel safe. They take your temperature, require masks and have social distancing "footprints" throughout the store. Not to mention, it's very clean.

I was going to my niece's wedding and had Nadine do an updo on my hair.  I wanted just simple braids on the sides and a messy bun in the back.  I was pressed for time that day so she first teased my hair (which I never do as it breaks your hair badly!) and started a style then took it out and tried something else.  As I look down at my cape, broken hair pieces everywhere!  Now mind you I don't use hairspray or tease my hair.  I'm low key, no maintenance, yoga type girl.  She finally did a twist with TONS of hairspray and a big poof on the top of my head.  I looked like Ivanka Trump!  Got home with little to no time to dress and put my makeup on, squished the poof down and raced out the door!  I was clearly overdone compared to the other guests, but despite my dislike for the updo results, I got a ton of compliments!  I like Nadine, she is a beautiful soul and passionate about her work.  I would have her do another updo but with CLEAR instructions!
