Beautiful Nails - Big Bend Blvd in St. Louis, MO

In prior visit noticed they treat clients differently. Instead of giving best service to everyone.
If you look like you hv $$$ they are all over you, polite and friendly and attentive. I was treated indifferently. All I needed was a basic fill. So haven't been back in long time.And I didn't return before b/c tech wanted to do my nails  her way. I asked kindly to file a certain way to accommodate the way my nails grow out. Immediately ATTITUDE!!!
This time, b/c my regular nail shop was closed for  vacation wk. I decided, ok, Ill give Beautiful Nails another chance. I had 3 chipped and 1 tip came off. Oh, so maybe it was tooooo much work for them!!??? Shouldn't matter, rgt?!

Same thing.... ATTITUDE! ENTITLED!!! I'm paying for a service, they are grossly lacking Customer service!!
And be careful they are notorious for overcharging. She had the nerve to get annoyed that I brought-to her attention twice she selected the wrong nail colour. She didn't care!
You might be wondering how my nails turned out??
Just okay... maybe they will learn that good technique goes hand n' hand with superb  service ....they are very poor in both areas.... but NEVER ever again!! So long BN , taking my $$$ to B.  Nails.

I must say despite many glowing reviews my experience was not a pleasant one. To begin, my technician was limited in her ability to provide the service I wanted which was a simple design on one of my nails. I was told she could only do solid colors. I said that was fine and found a color that suited me. She began the process of removing the dip pier I already had on my nails which she was a bit impatient with. Normally I sit for about 15-20 min with the acetone on to remove the dip power without having to use a drill.
Then she was very rough in how she handled my hands when trying to file. I have a tendency to involuntarily shake due to medication I take so sometimes it's a bit hard for me to fully relax my hands. After she told me to wash my hands, and noticed my nails were different lengths and shapes. I told her and she only tried to fix one. In addition my cuticles were absolutely a mess. They were cracked and dry. At no point did she offer and oil or lotion. I finally just told her to apply the top coat so I could be done.
Prior to me leaving I stopped at the front desk to talk to the manager to express my disappointment. He told me to wait for his brother so he could fix it. I waited about 5 min for brother to come fix it. He asked what the issue was and he proceeded to fix my nails. As he did he scraped me with the drill and I began to bleed. I told him he had done so and he offered no apologies.
After he finished with my nails he asked where I got my nails done. I told him I had been there before in the past which is why I came back but usually I go to another place that's closer to where I live. He then gave the unsolicited advice of going where I normally go. So with that I give anyone reading this that same advice.

Beautiful Nails is the absolute best! The kindest people, amazing services and an overall wonderful experience. I love coming to Beautiful Nails as the team always is so nice and goes out of their way to be accommodating. My manicures are incredible and the dip lasts for 4 weeks without a single chip!! The best place in St. Louis hands down!!

I asked for nails to be filed to oval shape not square, not clipped. Manicurist proceeded to clip and file square. She asked if they were ok - said no, oval not square please. Filed again square. Decided to just deal with it - asked for French manicure with THIN white tip - gave me very thick white tips on left hand. Asked if I liked , I requested thinner. She said "they are thin" / nope- right hand was already filed (square) and clear coated. R nails were noticeably uneven. I gave up at this point and requested she remove polish from both hands. The kicker is this salon demands payment and tip before they complete manicure. Ripped off and unhappy. Never again

Lee gives and exceptional manicure! His dip manis are perfect and long lasting.  My experiences with other nail techs there are more average.
