BBeautiful Salon kirkland in Kirkland, WA

I met BB a few years ago through a mutual friend/ client and have been seeing her ever since. There's not a lot I can say that hasn't already been said about beautiful BB. What I can say though is that there simply isn't enough stars to give this little lady. This review has been long over due! She's not only sweet and knows her stuff but she's a great listener and an amazing person. It's so hard finding someone you can connect with that truly values her clients and is compassionate and talented. You won't look elsewhere after finding Bb.

I highly recommend Bb. I am an older woman who has had the opportunity to try many hair stylists. I get the best haircut I have ever had from Bb. Besides that, it is a delight to talk with Bb. Bb is well versed in many topics - science, politics,... I feel I am bouncing off ideas rather than talking about the weather. Bb is professional, warm, and truly cares about quality.

I've been seeing BB for around two years, and during that time I have never considered going elsewhere. Because BB's ON POINT. She can take hair disasters (I came to her with cut and color done by a beauty school in a small Oregon town) and create masterpieces, all while being very realistic and never promising more than she can deliver. She not only is very easy to talk to, hilarious, and super friendly, but she can also succinctly explain differences between the molecular densities of certain dye colors. She knows what she's talking about, and shows a true passion for her work. I turned my mother and my sister on to her and BB's fantastic for all of us, even though we have very different curl patterns. BB is creative and it shows in her eye for coloring and design. To sum it up: BB is honest, passionate, and incredibly good at what she does. I can't imagine ever wanting to go elsewhere.

So I used Britney a few times. I want to be fair - she is a talented stylist. I liked her colour job each time. So why two stars. The customer service....I will take responsibility- I missed an appointment. Not purposely but was sick with a migraine. Throw in a 6 month old in that mix and a family visit and I completely forgot. Again it was not intentional. I followed up with Britney when I came to that I had missed my appointment and apologized profusely. I called several times, texted and Facebook messaged a couple of times. I know she got the latter because of FB messenger notification. Nothing - no acknowledgment. I even asked in my last message that she confirm she no longer wanted to work on my hair because I genuinely liked her work and nothing. It's been two weeks and absolutely nothing! I get it the owner relies on appointments to cover their overhead costs and would have heavily tipped. Also beware, my friend and I ended up going to Britney (not realizing we both had the same stylist) and my personal business was shared with her. My friend knew because i had shared the same story and she put two and two together. I was a little put off about that but was willing to overlook it. I am genuinely sorry my business wasn't worth a message. UPDATE: Thank you for your comment below. I think your policy is something that would have been useful to avoid the above situation. Unfortunately I did not receive a notice 24 or 48 hours before my appointment as a reminder. I still take responsibility for missing it however I think it was unprofessional not to reply back after 2 weeks of engagement even if it was to tell me to find another hair dresser.

I have been going to Bb for about 2 years and I just love what she does with my hair. I have long, thick, wavy hair. I'm also super picky/fussy about the color and cut. It's so rare to find someone that can do a good cut AND color. She nails it every single time. She has taken my hair from a full balayage to all over color and now a bleach and tone. Pretty impressive! And the best part is my hair is still in pretty good shape. I don't see myself going anywhere else. Oh and her salon is cute, I love being in a little private room rather than a big noisy salon.
