Madison Reed Hair Color Bar Kirkland in Kirkland, WA

1st time there, waited 30 minutes to start and when someone finally came (did not introduce herself by name) she rudely argued with the me about what I wanted. I've been getting highlights for years, just simple highlights, but she couldn't seem to understand the goal of the appointment (to lighten and touch up roots). She kept leaving and coming back and then she left and started working on someone else! I finally felt so uncomfortable I approached her and asked if she was going to help me and she said "do you just want to reschedule"? I left and will never be back.

Wow!! What a great color and style!! I've been going to Madison Reed for a couple of years now and every time I look 10 years younger. This is how great my hair looks. Thank you!!!

Although this location does seem to have its challenges with keeping colorists, those that are there on any given day, do a very nice job and I find they are very pleasant. I always love my hair color and they are fast and super-efficient. I have absolutely been frustrated by wait times or short staffing, but I just go there prepared for a bit of a delay because the END RESULT IS WORTH IT. We do need more than one location in WA. but the concept is great and an amazing deal. Also, If you travel as I do, you can visit other locations and that's a great benefit to me. I suggest not being in a hurry and being understanding when you go. There are not many retail operations that are fully staffed anywhere you go.

I have been going here at Totem Lake location for a yea, and love it. The staff never disappoints!! I have red (or used to), which can be challenging- the nail it every time

There's either a problem with short staffing, apathy and rudeness, or extremely poor management. Called for three days straight to book a consult which can't be booked online. The phone was never answered. Finally picked a color and ordered/paid onlune for Kirkland pickup. Confirmation says to give them a little time to get it pulled. After three hours, tried calling, again no answer. We headed over and went inside where we waited quite a while for acknowledgement of any kind. When finally asked, I explained I was there to pick up - she said she was busy and to come back in 20 min. So I waited and finally got my package with a less than pleasant demeanor. we definitely won't be back.
