BaK 4 More S2dio in Lexington, KY

Get stylists who are talented and don't claim they can do a cut then mid cut state they don't know how to cut an angle, when the pic was shown at very beginning of appointment!!!!!!! Read my review on other Bak 4 more location. Not sure why my whole review isn't posting on this location. RUN from this company. I'll pay $100 for a cut if that is what it takes to a competent stylist

I am from out of town and have never gone to ANYONE except my hometown hairdresser. I had to extend my stay in Kentucky and am heading on another trip this weekend. I really wanted to get my hair done prior to my trip and decided to stop in. THANK GOD I did!!! I walked in and was immediately able to sit in a salon chair. KAYLA treated me as if I had been going to her for years! I felt comfortable and she kept me updated through the whole process. She asked what toner I wanted and when I showed her a photo of my hair from the past, she matched it EXACTLY. Not only did she exceed my expectations and make me feel comfortable, she also gave me amazing recommendations for things to do and places to eat in the area. Kayla, thank you so much!!! You will have a lifelong customer if I ever call Lexington home.

This place is horrible! I came in for a full red auburn hair color and came out with a dark chocolate/black hair color. As soon as Rachel, dyed my hair, I immediately told her that was not the color that I brought a sample of. I was reassured that it would turn auburn after a few washes, or I could come back and get my hair fixed for FREE because I wasn't satisfied with the color. Both Rachel and the receptionist Lady told me that it would be free to fix the color because I was not satisfied with it. So after I left, I called immediately and made a appointment for them to fix the hair color because I got a better look at the color when I went outside. And I was right it was not red. It was a deep, dark, chocolate, black color. A few days later I returned and that's when they told me that they were not fixing the haircolor and that it was going to be $315 to try and fix it. The manager was no help either. I took the sample hair piece out of my bag and put it next to my dyed dark chocolate/black hair color, and showed her. It was obviously not the same color that I asked for. So the manager came up with a dumb idea to lighten up the top of my hair and leave the tips of my hair chocolate/black. I will be filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau because that is not right that somebody botched my hair color and then they promised to fix it. Then they change their mind that they were not going to fix it. So I wasted $90 for nothing. So I went to another salon and they said 100% that is not the color of the sample that I showed them. It was in no way shape or form the same color. Hopefully I can get some resolution through the Better Business Bureau.

Katie at Bak 4 More is always great. I am always thrilled with her work and I truly enjoy my time spent with her at the salon. She's a true gem and a highly experienced stylist. There really isn't anything she can't do! The salon itself is full of uplifting people and the service is top notch. Very welcoming, and always pleasant. The name of the salon is on par with their service.

The manager called me 2 days after seeing my review and offered to make things right.

Good customer relations, in making sure all are happy.

I may try salon again this summer, knowing they try hard to make sure customers are happy, should not be afraid to speak up.
