There's something about this place that makes me like the atmosphere at a few other bars in town better. The food was pretty good though.
I've driven by this place countless times ... never been. Not sure why because the food always smells AMAZING. All it took was smelling some delicious food on a walk with my dog that I knew I had to stop in for dinner at the saloon! We ordered a carry out on a slow day in October (Carry out isn't always available during the busy season) and the food was made prompt and fresh. My boyfriend talked to some workers and everyone was friendly and welcoming, making him feel like he was already family. Because we didn't bring much food for our quick overnight trip at our cottage, we ordered a little bit of everything. The reuben egg rolls were fried perfectly. I liked that they were cut into a reasonable size, making it easy to share with a group. For dinner I opted for a chicken caesar wrap. Boyfriend surprised me by getting me sweet potato fries for an additional charge. I loved that it came with a cinnamon butter dip. I was so surprised and so happy! It was DELICIOUS. Boyfriend got the goldielocks wrap, which came with crispy chicken vs grilled chicken in the chicken caesar wrap. I preferred the crispy chicken, but both were great! Total was about $50 for the two of us. A little pricier, but still enough food for at least two meals. Will definitely be back again!
3 people in our party ordered the Filet at 30.00 person. steak was extremely thin, like a hamburger patty. All ordered medium and steaks came from medium rare to well done. Dinner included a half cup of mashed potatoes and vegetable was 4 baby carrots and 2 pieces of broccoli. Dinner was served on a big platter and overall the meal was disappointing.
