Bernadette does an amazing job. She takes the time to really do it right. When we first started coming, the hair was damaged and broken and uneven. After 2 cuts and some education on hair care, it looks beautiful.
This place is awful. I called to book a hair cut and they said the price would be $65. When I went to pay the lady said oh a blow dry is extra, and charged me $90. Do they expect people to leave with wet hair? Awful experience and took forever. Not to mention doesn't even look like I got my hair cut. Do not waste your time or money.

When I first decided to try BABS Salon, my hair was a few different hues of blonde and brown from home dye jobs through the years. My dye jobs had created a banding effect because I would wait too long in between dye jobs. Arriving at the shop I was instantly greeted with a warm welcome and smiles. Bernadette is just hands down an amazing stylist and person. She not only evened out my color, but she gave me a color that complimented me way better. I usually have issues finding someone to do my hair because it is very thick and curly and a bit tempermental, but Bernadette had no issues and gave me some helpful tips when doing my own hair since I wear it natural 90% of the time. I have gone to Bernadette several times after my initial appointment for color touch ups, cuts and trims and every time she never disappoints. Her demeanor is always friendly and professional. Once you go, you wont want to go anywhere else.
My personal experience with the proprietor of Babs Salon and Spa has been a positive one. I have always been conservative when it comes to hair care. Wash, blow dry, curl and go. Since becoming a client of Ms. Blanchard, my hair has grown longer and healthier than when I was a child. Stepping out of my comfort zone, I trusted Babs to color my hair. The result was AMAZING! I receive sooo many compliments, the color Babs selected for me is perfect. Babs Salon and Spa is professionally operated. All the technicians are knowledgeable and professional. Each is committed to continual professional development regarding their trade, remaining on the 'cutting edge' of their profession. I would highly recommend anyone of the stylists or technicians.
