I researched local salons for a good curly cut. This place had great reviews. I was told Carrie would be the best. Came for my cut and told her my previous experience/concern with hairdressers and showed her pictures of the cut I was interested in. My cut took a while, longer than expected. When she finished it was shorter than what I wanted, she stated she tried to get the cut length between two pictures I had showed her. Which is doing her own thing. She never talked me thru what she was doing. Actually, barely talked to me. Charge: $65. My hairstyle fell flat three days later and I realized there were no curtain bangs, like I requested; had another salon stylist look over my "cut". No layering around my face; I barely have any layer and parts are uneven. I called so that she can compensate or give me a credit for this $15 value cut, left a message, no return call. I have to get this corrected. I read that she is a master stylist with "years of experience". Just wasn't worth the money or time. She did offer to correct any imperfections before I left...why mess it up more if you can't cut if remotely correct the first time. Val is a great choice. She talked to her client and me, briefly, while I was there. Unfortunately, won't be back. POA: Listen to your customers and talk to them.

Decent devacut but forced devacurl products on me. I felt like I was in a commercial my whole visit.

For the first time in my life, I agreed to book a follow up appointment. Valerie and her Associate - Katherine (Catherine?) - were awesome, knowledgeable, down to earth, and complimented each other well. The salon was clean, lovely, and well maintained. The prices are competitive with almost any other salon in the area, but the atmosphere is much more welcoming. I'm so glad to have found this place, highly recommend.

I got full highlights by Kathryn and I love them. Not only do I love my hair, but the atmosphere was really nice in there, the people that work there are super friendly and it was a fun place to be. I am a new mom and don't get time to myself very often so it was nice to have a good experience. I will definitely be back.

This Salon is by far one of the most upbeat, respectful, welcoming & classy salons in the entire Tallahassee area. Everyone there gets along, and it's obvious that they are very team oriented and that's extremely rare to find in Tallahassee. Trena, the owner, is an amazing woman all around. Not just at cutting hair but also running her business and raising her family! She's a great communicator and I wouldn't ask for anyone else to call my boss. I'm so grateful and blessed to have been given the opportunity to work for this Salon. And anyone that comes in for any service will leave 110% more than satisfied with their results!
