I received some gift cards for my birthday and Mother's Day. I called the location just before going and asked them if they accepted this type of gift card. They said they did so I went as a walk-in. I got one of the most expensive pedicures as a treat since I had gift cards. When I went to pay they said they didn't accept my gift cards. That was all that I took with me. After going back and forth explaining I had no other way to pay except my Venmo card which only had a small amount on it. They said they would charge me that amount. I signed the slip for the agreed upon amount. And then two days later I received a notification from Venmo that my account was restricted because Avalon nails changed my charge! I felt like I did my due diligence by calling ahead and confirming they took the form of payment I had. I can't think of anything else I could have done on my end to have prevented this from happening. Very unprofessional.
Affordable, they got me in really quick, chill environment, and Dan was skilled and checked with me several times to make sure I was happy with the quality of his work (gel French pedicure). Will return!
Brought my daughter and her two friends in to get nails done for her birthday. Spent over a hundred. And only one of the girls nails fully dried(gel). My daughter got a full set and used regular nail polish and the NEXT morning her nails were still gummy- needless to say they were all smudged and messed up. The other little girl got a regular mani and her polish did the same. This is what happens when nail polish is either applied too thick or is old. Also- none of the staff were very friendly/accommodating. I will not be returning and do not recommend this place. I should add. Years ago this was one of my favorite places. Not anymore
This is the worst salon I've EVER been to the second picture is what I got the first picture is what I wanted. My nails are unbelievable thin and are close to breaking. I also got passed around to about 3 different people. No one in the salon looked or acted pleased with their nails including myself. I will never be back I hope no one else goes there for their sake!
They do the best manis and pedis! Their gel pedicures last so long! My favorite nail spa in Knoxville by far!
