Excellent service here! Best hand and foot massage I've ever received at a nail salon. They went above and beyond
Went in for a basic manicure and will NEVER go back there again and here is why: 1- Nail girl who approached me when I walked in tried to talk me into extra services that I didn't want...this was after I had already told her twice that I want a basic manicure. If this was my only issue, I wouldn't be writing this. 2- Early on in the encounter, I told her I didn't quite understand what she was saying, she started talking unnecessarily loud to me; basically yelling at me. She was also observed yelling at another customer who arrived in the lobby area immediately after me; very rude! 3- The male manicurist who became available and who worked on my hands, started my manicure by leaving the previous customer's towel on the table; I could see that there was nail polish marks and some kind of cream on the towel that my hand kept bumping onto. 4- My manicurist couldn't stay away from his cigarettes and ran outside to smoke while my nails were soaking in the freezing cold water he had for me. Usually, it's supposed to be warm water and light amount of soap. 5- When he came back to start my nails, he stank of cigarette smoke. 6- Manicurist started with the layers of polish by using nail color first, so then I had to request the base coat; then he stopped and looked around for one. Was he trying to skip a step? 7-One week later, the nail polish did not really chip off as expected with a basic manicure, but it popped off my nails as though it were "glue-on" nails. It was the strangest thing I had ever experienced with a basic manicure. Normally after a basic manicure, the nails will chip over time especially at the tips and that's when I will get the nail polish remover out an remove it from all my nails. Didn't need to do this because the polish kept popping right off like in one, whole oval piece from my finger tips, one at a time. Very bizarre! This left me questioning : what was that initial layer he applied? Was it really a base coat? 8- The positives...Manicurist did do a nice job on my cuticles, and painting my nails.
Will never go back. Pedicure was Extremely rough - very rude!!! I also asked for a manicure, no color, just a buff which I always get at any salon. He rushed through the manicure and clipped the nails square and uneven - didn't even file. Horrible service.........
Great place! Absolutely beautiful inside and pedicure chairs are amazing! They really did a good job on our toes and used great products (as someone who has very sensitive skin my skin was perfectly fine and had no reaction) they did a good job cleaning up my nails and making me feel relaxed! I'll be back!
