Had my first appointment today with Ali at Salon Surreal. I highly recommend and will return. Ali was patient, asked a lot of questions about my hair and style. The shop itself was very clean and nice. Live my new cut!
I really liked my hairdresser, she took time to speak with me about what I wanted and she seems to really know color.
I originally gave this place 5 stars but unfortunately, things took a horrible turn. I believe it was my 3rd visit. I had the same stylist I always had. I was getting my pixie trimmed and a color. I wanted a darker brown. What I got was pitch black hair and a stained face from all the color used. She said she could get the color off my face so she walked out and came back smearing her cigarette ashes on my forehead. No one offered to fix what had been done and I was never contacted and given an apology. WHO SMEARS CIGARETTE ASHES ON SOMEONE's FACE? So now I go to Great Clips by Panera Bread and out of 4 trips and 3 stylists I haven't been disappointed once. I wouldn't have posted this if they just would've offered to fix it or contacted me. I had to buy product and spend 45 minutes getting that black out of my hair. They always contacted me before to come in but the contact stopped. I always tipped big and gave simple instructions because I'm really easy to please. But that was too far.
