I got a lot of hair cut off and colored, totally trusted Ashley Schwiegeraht. She was great, I kind of had an idea, and Ashley is a artist! Got another appointment for a touch up on the 21st. Thanks Ashley!

I am thrilled that I tried out this salon! Misty was my stylist today and she did an amazing job. I love supporting local businesses that are casual and friendly whilst doing an amazing job. They offer affordable prices and were able to get me in right away when I called!

I definitely found my new hair home!

Went in to get my hair colored. This my was first time getting it professionally done. I usually box dye my hair. I got a referral from a friend who told me she gets her hair done by Melody for years, one of the stylist at this shop. My friends hair was nice and had different hues in it which is what I was looking for-for my dark hair. I just wanted some pop of color brown on my hair. I showed Melody the picture, exchanged text messages of what to expect and etc. she said she could do it. I got in, very friendly and sweet. She educated me on color and what she was going to do to my hair AFTER SHOWING HER THE PICTURE OF WHAT I WAS WANTING. mind you, the picture is clear and anyone who sees it will be like oh that's easy. Melody mentioned color can't go over color so she needed to lift the color. Bleach was involved. My hair was looking funky already with the highlights she did with foils. I had no idea what the process would be to accomplish the picture but I trusted her since she said color can't be over color and assuming she's just lifting it by bleach so when the color goes over it'll blend nice and the brown I was wanting will pop but my hair will still be primary dark... okay so after the foils, she went in with toner. That's what she said... then after, she dyed my hair wet with medium brown. Okay okay, after she blow dry my hair.... I KID YOU NOT, my heart dropped!!!! It was no where near the picture I showed her. I don't know if she's color blind or not or what she was thinking either... she even told me that the picture wouldn't be a process thing. I wasn't trying to go blonde! I was so heart broken but I was nice about it. I didn't want to react because there were others in there and she had another appointment right after me. I kept looking at my hair. I told her I didn't like the orangeness on the bottom and I asked why is it so light. Even her face had confusion and I saw it. I knew she knew she messed up but of course she's not going to admit it because she wants her money. The labor... I can see why but honestly she didn't do her job like I was expecting her to. This is ridiculous. I don't write reviews unless I absolutely love the product but this.. this Is my first BAD REVIEW ever!!!! I even drove 35 mins to get to this appointment that I booked in weeks advance. I can't believe I was so excited. Anyways, we've been exchanging messages since she did my hair and she says next available appointment for 2nd round of color would be in 3 weeks (this was after I said I was unsatisfied) and she was still going to charge me. Guys, my hair is horrible and I can't wait that long. I asked about anything sooner or with someone else and still I would've been charged. Idk why melody couldn't pocket the charge with the other stylist instead of making me the customer pay for her mistake. Honestly, the other stylist would've agreed with me and tell me as well my hair is ugly. It was orange with brass and it was not blending well. My inner hair was reddish orange and the streaks weren't even streaks (when she did the foil) they were like blocks. I'm not kidding on that!!! So I went to cosmo prof and got hair dye and solution and dyed my hair back myself. I was not going to spend another $50 just to color it dark again. I spent $150, gave $10 tip (which I shouldn't have) I really want my money back!!!!!!!!!! This is so unfair!!! Here are pics of my before & after from the salon and when I dyed my hair myself. The first photo is the photo I showed her to do. FYI- The sunlight captured the picture in a different lighting, but believe me when I say different types of red/orange was definitely going on in my hair and I have a bunch of people to vouch for that.

My hair turned out awful. There was no blending done to be seen and the sides look choppy. She left the hair in front of my ears long so I look like I have mutton chops. The lady's hands were shaky the entire time which made me think she would accidentally clip my ears. If you have short hair do not go here. You will have better luck at a barber shop.

Melody Bell is a rockstar hair specialist.  my friends and family all go here. ask for Melody colors and be amazed. My wifes hair has never looked so very sexy as when she sees melody. I can't recommend her enough.
