Tera is a waxing QUEEN! I've been waxing myself for years (because I've believed it hurts less doing it yourself) but was in a pinch for time before leaving on vacation. Tera made me feel so comfortable & relaxed the second I walked in, and was finished waxing before I even had time to work myself up into an over-dramatic mess! She was clean, professional, quick and painless!! I'm still so satisfied with my results even weeks later. Definitely my go-to waxer - thanks Tera!!

I found Tera at 4th and Brooklyn through Yelp for an emergency, very last-minute wedding hair styling and makeup appointment, and I couldn't be happier with my experience. From our first meeting, Tera was professional, upbeat, and friendly. She was also super fun and easy to talk to, which is crucial for a stylist in my opinion. She was able to create the exact style I was looking for, and made it look even better than I hoped for on the day of the wedding. I can't even count the number of compliments I received on my makeup - I definitely felt like my best and most beautiful self on my wedding day, with huge thanks to Tera.

My kids and I have been going to this salon since they opened several years ago. The owners mom is the receptionist sometimes and has the WORST customer service. On numerous occasions she has been rude. I scheduled an appointment with the other part time receptionist which took no less than 20 minutes because she couldn't remember what time or days I was available or who I was even making an appointment with. When she finally found a time I wrote down and verbally confirmed the day/time before we hung up. We showed up for the appointment to be rudely told we missed our appointment and our stylist wasn't there. I know for sure what time it was scheduled for and that was not my mistake, but the owners mom insisted it was my fault. I even confirmed with the stylist after this incident and she agreed I was correct as she saw it on her schedule. I am appalled that the owner and her mother treat clients this way and after all these years we will not recommend or go back to this salon. There are far too many fantastic salons to support an owner that allows this behavior.

I (was) a customer for many years but finally had to abandon them. Good stylists and staff but If you go there, be prepared to have a back-up plan for your hair. The staff are friendly and skillful but most (all?) only work part-time and frequently call at the last minute to reschedule your appointment. Since they work part time, they are booked out 3 weeks or more and have limited days and times when they're available. So, if you've waited 6-8 weeks to come in for a re-cut/color and they call you the day before your appointment to reschedule - you end up waiting another 2-3 weeks (or longer if the sylist frequently leaves town for 2-4 weeks on top being booked 3-4 out). I followed my stylist from salon to salon until she co-opened this place, years ago. When she moved away, I continued going there but have ended up scrambling more than once to figure out what I was going to do when the stylist had to reschedule my appointment at the last minute and there was nothing available for weeks.

Crystal did my spray tan and it is like nothing I've had before! I feel like I've been on a beach vacay with how natural it looks and it's so even you would never know it was fake. The best part (she could tell I was nervous) was how comfortable she made me feel. She also told me that if I need anything darker or notice anything off to come back... Which was great, but everything is perfect! I am so happy I met crystal! She will be my go to spray tan professional and soon she will be doing my hair! If you haven't seen crystal for your beauty needs you're missing out!
