My husband has been going for years and always looks great. I always had thought this was a barber shop for men's hair until my husband told me he saw a woman leave there with a very cute haircut. After my last $95 haircut (but half off because I'm a relative) at a fancy salon that wasn't what I wanted, I gave Son a try. I explained what I wanted and he cut it perfectly. $30 for a very nice haircut done partly with electric razors and partly with scissors. He's fast but does it right.
I went in and asked for what I wanted; short layers, bangs layered to frame around the /eyes/face, and not too much length off, so I could still put in a high pony. Not difficult, right? The idea of a consult seemed to almost anger him. He said I made him uncomfortable and threw me out of the salon. I've never experienced anything so rude and unprofessional in my life. I was stunned. Honestly, I think I interrupted his football game. I'd give zero stars if I could. Oh, and while he was telling me how uncomfortable he was with a consult he let his mask drop and I had to ask him to put it back on as he was becoming animated and the spittle was flying.
I was five minutes late and he told me he could not do my haircut because I was late! Said he was running a business! I mentioned the number of times that I was there and waited when I was early and on time. It didn't matter!This is a poor way to run a business! I'll never go back there again!
Our family has been receiving men's and kids haircuts from Son for 10+ years. Haircuts are sharp and "classy" as my son puts it. Appreciate we always are able to get an apt quickly and gets you in and out.
