Good haircut and reasonably priced. $30 for haircut and light blow dry styling without shampoo. This place is a no frills hair salon that is clean and efficient. They can cut Asian hairstyles pretty well in regards to knowing the texture and trends. The decor is basic and minimal conversation, which is fine by me. Hahaha. If you expect long drawn out haircuts and the stylist speaks perfect English and ask about your day/dog/life/ blahhh blah, luxurious interior design then this place isn't for you. I like efficiency, great technique, and decent price so this place is PERFECT!
there are really good at cutting hair and really friendly i love it! and they have a nice vibe and it's very nice inside and. and they made my perm really good looking.
Very disappointed. I've been taking my 3 yo son here for over a year now and each time, they would skip him and take other people. It's not like they took one person before him. It's about 4 or 5 people! And they all came in after us! Initially I was ok with it bc he was little and would cry the first two times so it wasn't easy for the guys to cut his hair. However, he's bigger and is familiar with the routine now so it's not like they are dealing with a difficult client. The price for kids and adults are the same. So it's not like that they are going to make more money taking a grown up first. Boys/men's cut is $15 and my son's cut takes about 10 minutes. We ended up going to Great Clips. Friendlier stylists and they actually take people in the order they walked in! What a simple concept! The stylist was very nice and patient with him and they took him right away! We won't be going back to 38!!!
I've been going to 38 Hair Salon for years on-and-off even when they were in their other location in the store adjacent to the current one. While I am not partial to one stylist over another, I tend to get haircuts across the board that I like and have been happy with! The stylists here are fast and efficient with their men's cuts. I have only walked in for a cut and have been seen pretty quickly, but if you are going here for more involved management of your hair, your better off calling for an appointment.
