I booked this appointment, very last minute, upon the reviews. They booked me right away, Les, the owner cut my hair......THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU,!!! This was one of the best haircuts I have had in YEARS!!! Thank you Les! Everyone was really nice, and happy, and friendly. I loved meeting everyone and can't wait to go back in late December for my color. In my "very fussy" opinion,.... this is Chagrin Falls best Salon...and.... best kept secret that has been in business for almost 40 YEARS!!! Wow!!,! Just want to say THANK YOU for fitting me into your busy schedule and I am So happy to have found you.
Sometimes being from out of town can either be great or a pain. We had a wedding to go in the area and I needed a blow out. I went on yelp and started my search. This is not a very big place but it's hidden in back of a parking lot in downtown Chagrin Falls. The inside was simply dressed but could use a simple update and maybe a bit more cleaning. The person who did my hair was Lisa I believe. She was warm and approachable, asked me what I wanted my hair to look like and asked if I had a photo. Having short hair may not be a thrill to stylist but she did a fabulous job giving me the va-va-voom I needed for this evening wedding. Blowouts are $25 and a steal. This place is really a gem. Parking is a large shared lot and that area around it has great shops and places to eat. Give them a whirl, you will be satisfied.
I am hesitant to share Chagrin's best kept salon secret, but these folks are the best glam squad in town. Talented, down to earth, reasonably priced and available at a moment's notice, I have been a loyal customer for 17 years. My kids and I go to Lisa, Kellee and Melissa, but everyone is terrific!
Salons are a tough one for me. I am very picky when it comes to getting my hair cut (well I guess most people are picky about that). Girls who have long hair know that the decision you make is critical before walking into a new salon. I usually get my hair done elsewhere, however they were fully booked and my split ends were out of control. Lisa was able to set up an appointment with me at exactly the time I needed. She was quick thorough and didn't overdue the chit chat (I despise shmoozing). I was in and out of there in less than an hour with a shiny new hairdo. She didn't take too much off and asked me what I thought throughout the entire cut. Overall it was a great experience. A few things that bumped this review down to 4 stars: They don't use Aveda products, which I am obsessed with and I disagree with the prices. $50 for a ladies cut/blowdry? Come oooooooooooonnnnnnnnnnnnnn. I guess if you want a great cut these days and don't want to go to best cuts, you just have to suck it up and start saving $$.
