1 Nail Salon in O'Fallon, IL

When I got there I asked for one of their spa pedicures which cost $50. Once I was in the chair I told the lady that I needed my cuticles cut the sides of my big toes cleaned out and don't forget to get the calluses in certain areas. Next thing I know she's scrubbing 1 side of my leg raw turning around talking to everybody's she works with looking at pictures paying absolutely 0 attention to what the h*** she was doing. Then she didn't even bother to exfoliate my feet with that she barely got the cuticles at all She did a horrible job trying to get the dead skin off the bottom of my feet because she wasn't paying any attention she just kept chatting. I would never recommend this place worse place I've ever And they want to charge $50 for a spa pedicure and they basically did worse than a standard pedicure I would not suggest going here

I've been going here for 6 months as my first few visits were terrific. However, the visits in the last month or so have been terrible. Today was the last straw. I needed my toenail polish removed for surgery in 2 days. I waited for over 30 minutes with nobody else in line. Finally went in and the lady tried to get my to choose a color even though I'd stated no polish. She flew her way through my pedicure. It was terrible. No time taken. She cut too deep on my big toes. Didn't talk to me. Made me feel as if I shouldn't have come in. Rang me up at the end and tacked on a couple of dollars because a few of my toes had old gel which took her no time to remove. Don't go!!

i wish i could give this nail salon a negative review. where do i even start. i came into this nail salon at 5:30pm, now if you check the business hours, this establishment closes at 7pm. the owner began rushing all of the customers that were already in the salon once 5:45pm hit and began being rude. i only came in for gel nails and toe polish. one guy offered to do my toe polish first but i told him i wanted to wait to get my nails did first to make sure the two colors matched. once i said that, the man in the picture, which is the owner of this business yelled at me "that they didnt have time to do that". i then told him that i had been waiting since 5:30p and this was my only off day to get into this shop since they are closed on mondays and changed their hours to 7pm all of a sudden. i explained that to him and he did not care.. once i began having a private conversation with one of the other customers within the building the man in the picture demanded that i stop talking about the situation(in a rude manner) and i refused because i was not being loud or irate!! i was having a personal conversation. he then said that they are denying me service because i was talking to the customer sitting beside me. the man in the picture is racist towards african american people and will deny service for any reason he can find! as a woman i would not give my money to this establishment, they do not respect anyone that is not of their race!! i was even told once by a worker in the establishment that they upcharge certain customers so they will not try to come back!! i am a college educated single mother and i will no longer be giving my money to this business!! normally i am not one to leave google reviews but this is something i feel people should know about and i also will be posting on yelp as wel!! side note: jenny and van are sweethearts and they did not do anything wrong they just work for an asxhole boss!!

I came in with my sister and two daughters, and we wanted to all sit together for pedicures but were told we couldn't. I told them we would wait until there were available seats and they looked at me like I was crazy. I couldnt even sit with my daughters! I should have left then but didn't want to disappoint the girls. So we stayed and my nails turned out awful and the person that did mine was very rude when I asked her to trim my nails a little more. my Oldest hated her nails and if I were sitting next to her I could have been supervising. I will not be back! the prices are also ridiculous. waste of time and money.

So my daughter is autistic and is easily disoriented in public. She of course was with me. She wanted to sit next to me while I got my pedicure. Mind you there was only one other person getting a pedicure. As she starts to cry and I am explaining this a worker comes up to me, rudely asks what the problem is and then tells me the chair is for people getting pedi done. Well obviously, sir. But no one is getting pedi done right now. He makes her sit at a table. Now she is anxious. Now I can't relax. Then I ask for a certain style by showing a picture. The person doing my pedi says you need to pick out a color since we can't guarantee a match. Ummm ok. So u work here, u don't know what color best matches this? What I wanted also had a design on the ring finger. This he says they can do. I decide to get a manicure. A couple of cuts later and it's time to paint my nails. The technician tells me he can't do the design and the girl who can is too busy. He asks the guy working next to him and all he says is we don't do that here. Ummmm ok. So u can't tell me what you DO so we can make a compromise?? At this point I'm seething. I pay I tip and I leave. People need to understand A. no one is without some sort of handicap. Don't judge me or treat me rudely Bc my daughter has one. B. If you say you can accommodate someone, do it. C. Try to help your customer happy by talking to them not at them about what they are paying YOU to do. D. Prejudice comes in all forms. And I'm sick of it
