This is literally the best salon in York county! The service is incredible, and all the ladies are just amazing! Extremely talented, and make you feel right at home! Brit is my go-to girl, and she's literally a scientist when it comes to color and balayage!! So glad I finally found a place that I feel comfortable going back to!
I will never go back to this hair salon. I spent 90.00 on a cut and color and when I got home it really wasn't anything special but thought maybe I just needed a week or so to work with it. After about a week and a half I called the salon to see if they could fix an area that just wasn't right. I went in and the girl cut the back of my hair quick and dry , when I got home I couldn't believe the uneven mess I saw plus a random chunk of hair missing ! And The worst part was she charged me 22.00 more dollarsAnd I tipped her both times ! Talk about a rip off! I ended up going to another salon and having to pay someone else to fix it ...
I had a wax. Alex was excellent, but the room was dirty and cluttered. Then, I had a hair appointment. I arrived ten minutes early. After waiting thirty minutes-twenty minutes beyond my appointment time, I went back to the desk and asked about my appointment. I was told, "She's nearly done" with her previous client. Okaaaay.... Then, after waiting an additional ten minutes, I decided I was done. It was then I realized that my hairdresser was in the midst of setting lighting and posing the hair of the girl she had done before me in order to take pictures of her work. I watched this process for three minutes, and finally decided that I was done waiting. I told the owner and her daughter who were sitting there in front of me at the reception desk that I was leaving. They immediately asked if there was anything they could do to get me to wait and stay. Honestly? If they didn't know that the answer was to take the pictures FOR the hairdresser rather than sit at the desk and discuss their coming lunch in order to help her get back on schedule, then I don't know what I'm supposed to do for them. I left. I won't go back.
Yesterday I went there for a haircut. The staff was friendly and the atmosphere was great. However, my resulting haircut was not. I specifically asked for a reverse bob with an extreme angle so that the front of my hair would lay on my collar bone. The hair doesn't even reach my shoulders, let alone my collar bone. I went home and thought about it, hoping it would grow on me, but I hate it even more now. While they might be good at what they do, their listening skills are not the best.
