This place is the worst. I'm writing this review with hopes that I can at least stop someone else from wasting their money and time here. All of the stylist in many ways were rude and insensitive and very very unprofessional. You would think that in this day and age where pretty much everyone is speaking the second language Spanish that they would know that when you are talking rudely about someone that you're servicing, that just maybe there might be a listening ear that understands what you're saying and that it might deter you to refrain from doing so. They not only talked about customers, but when a new customer would arrive they were never acknowledged. They would stop working on a customers hair and just go eat and the customer is waiting and wondering why they're sitting there with their hair wet for 15-20 minutes because the stylist just disappeared. Telling customers to "shut up" or "just don't come back again", and yet the worst is to speak horribly to an elderly lady who was telling them she wanted her hair done one way while they insisted that she just "be quiet" and let them do their job. Again, If I can just stop one person from having to endure this miserable place then I can sleep well at night. By the way this salon is also listed as (DMYA Beauty Salon) and why they have two names I have no idea.

When I relocated to Georgia I searched for a stylist to do my hear and get it healthy and I wanted it to grow. So I started going to Siri in November of 2012 and I probably have gone once or twice a month since. When I first stared going I had above the shoulder length natural hair. She washed, cut, styled, flattened and curled my hair I even allowed her to dye my hair. Now today a year later my hair is down my back, healthy and it looks amazing. I love Siri and if you are needing your hair to grow natural or relaxed this is the shop for you. I am a TRUE FAN. Many think that Dominican salons apply too much heat but that is not true. If you blow your hair, flatten it, etc daily or weekly you are applying more heat than going to the shop twice month. Love this Shop and Siri..

My daughter who happens to be autistic and I have been going here for almost two years. I recently took her here before the start of her 8th grade yr. The owner usually does her hair that's why we go and because we have been to several other shops and she NEVER feels comfortable enough to return. This visit was different. I saw a new stylist there about to wash my child's hair. I approached her and let her know that my child had autism and she might not understand everything you are saying to her so I will be her mouth piece. I thought all was understood. The owner knows this and has always been great. After this new stylist dries my child's hair she came to me and stated" You said your daughter was slow what do you want me to do to her hair?" I have NEVER had anyone in 13 yrs EVER refer to my child as slow let alone to my face! I informed her that I was offended and insulted! She offered an apology but the damage was already done. I was so upset. I advised the owner of what had just happened and she says "ok".At that moment I knew I had to remove myself and my child away from this place. The owner did a rush job on my child that was free of charge. None of that mattered to me. I'm not sure if something was lost in translation but we will NEVER GO BACK HERE! There are good salons all over Metro Atlanta and we are in search of a new one. The only problem is now I have to get my child comfortable with another shop. I will NOT allow this type of behavior towards my child. If there is a translation issue there needs to be someone there to translate to the other stylist so that issues like this wont become an issue and can be prevented in the future! I believe they ALL NEED sensitivity training which is one of the many suggestions I made as I walked out! I DIDNT WANT TO GIVE THIS PLACE ANY STARS THIS SITE MADE ME!!!!!!!!!!!!

After being on bed rest with my pregnancy for months, the shampoo I received was exactly what I needed. That's the only good thing I have to say about this salon. It kinda bothered me seeing the beauticians sitting and eating Ramon noodles, while several customers waited. I thought that was unprofessional and time consuming. A good 20 minutes was wasted while we just sat and waited. Ugh... Anyway, after my shampoo, she said my new growth was too hard to roll, so she opted to put me straight under the dryer...little did I know, this was part of a scam. I have very fine textured hair and can go months without a relaxer, so she was lying. My new growth and edges are like baby hair. Didn't matter to me because it saved me some time. So after I slightly dried under the hooded dryer, I waited for over an hour to be blow dried out and flat ironed. She initially quoted me $30, but once I finished she said $40... For what? Because it was blow dried instead of rolled. So, you mean to tell me for less work, you charge and extra $10. There are only a few Dominican shops I trust because of their payment policies. I guess, she couldn't charge me an extra $10 for the deep condition, so she got it another way. I don't mind paying the cost to have my tresses done, but don't try to play me because you're really playing yourself by losing a loyal customer and a positive review. I wasn't the only one questioning their service, so that tells you something. Anyway, will never go back because my hair was mediocre at best and was dry looking. My hubby thought I could have gotten the same results doing it myself at home. Please don't waste your hard earned money or precious time.
