Zoom Tan - Tanning Salon in New Hartford, NY

Clean and I like going there but most of the staff are completely disinterested and rude. It's almost funny to see what kind of mood you'll get when you sign in.

I Went there for the first time being a little cautious after reading some bad reviews about employees attitudes. But I can't complain, the girl who assisted me was very friendly and had no attitude at all! I will definitely be going back!

I have gone to Zoom Tan on and off for the past 3 years. The New Hartford location is where i would normally go as it is closer to my home. I have also had issues in the past with the staff there in regard to attitude and rudeness, as they are mostly high school girls or barely out of school and unfortunately often times comes with the territory of hiring young girls at this age. I do feel that it has gotten a bit better than it used to be in this area. I have gone to a different well known tanning facility in the area and have had FAR WORSE attitude and customer service than i have ever received at zoom tan. As a whole zoom tan is clean and convenient. I still wish they had the option for lay down beds though, as it is nice to relax while you tan.

I would give it less than one star if i could.... zoom tan never fails to blow my mind with their awful costumer service. I have had countless immature interactions with multaple zoom tan associates at different locations, specifically the new hartford one. we were once told that children weren't allowed in the building as they were in the waiting room, and instructed rudly that everyone who is not tanning must be seated....??? (there isn't proper seating, only one child was under the age of 12). As of today i went tanning in new hartford as i don't live there, my relatives do, and oddly enough i don't carry my eye wear at my side. I asked to borrow eye wear on 2 different occasion, the 2nd time she told me "i'm just saying this is the last time that you can borrow and then you need to buy them". 1) what awful costmer service, you should never speak to a costumer with a disrespectful attitude. 2) she doesn't make the rules, there is no limit to how many times you can borrow eyewear. 3) it's the law to wear eyewear so i can borrow as many times as i can. 4) i have a year membership that cost me around 200$... you want me to pay what? 5 more dollars for eye wear? i don't think so. what ever happened to the costumer is always right??? i can't wait for my membership to end so i can go somewhere else. i know that when ever i go to zoom tan i will be treated with distrespect and petty immaturity. i've called corporate before and they told me there's nothing they can do. keep driving your costumers away... that sounds like good business

Horrible, horrible place!! They started me on a package I never wanted and refused to refund me the money. Save yourself the time and go somewhere professional!
