Anyone that knows me knows that normally I'm not a boastful person, but in order to tell the truth, I must boast. The truth is everywhere I go people tell me that "you have amazing hair," "your hair is beautiful," or "who does your hair?" The truth is I do not have amazing hair. What I do have is AJ. My "natural" hair is dark brown, gray, and frizzy. No one knows/remembers that because they think what I have now is my natural hair because AJ makes it look so natural. I only wish I had discovered AJ earlier because it makes a difference when you know your hair looks great.

I recently moved to Gainesville and needed a new hairdresser which is stressful for anyone who cuts their hair!! My partner and recommended her hairdresser and I absolutely love AJ. She is an artist and will work with you in terms of how to style and the type of cut that will work for you. The studio has a Zen quiet and peacefulness about it. Although this is a bit of a drive for me in Alachua it is worth the trip!!

AJ has been cutting my hair for almost 25 years. I love that she uses the dry cut method. She's been a master trainer for this technique for the John Sahag company out of NY city and her skill level shows. She is also a master at color...she really knows her stuff and is a real chemist. She knows what will work on your hair type. I routinely get compliments on my hair and can honestly say I'd recommend AJ to anyone looking for a top stylist. Let me add that AJ owns her salon and limits the number of stylists that work there. It is not unusual for AJ to be the only stylist working which provides a quiet and relaxed atmosphere. I also love the soft playing music in the background. Check it out!

AJ is one of a kind! Not the typical hair dresser at all. She is truly an artist and needs to clone herself! Amazing experience! I travel from Melbourne to receive her services. Love my hair!

my first visit to Zoetic and a haircut with AJ. This is a beautiful space. AJ is an artist. I have never experienced a haircutting experience quite like it. She is the owner of the salon - the ultimate professional - 30years hair cutting experience and never stops learning and growing in her field. She sees your hair as part of your face - as part of the whole person - shape, flow, arcs within the structure of your face - she cuts the hair dry (never had a dry cut before). The cut is seamless. This means that it grows in seamlessly too - no awkward stages and trying to reproduce what you walked out of the salon with.....This was a great experience. I love my haircut - can't wait to go back in 8 weeks ( because of the nature of the cut - you can wait longer between cuts!) It is pricey but worth it!! (actually not really that pricey, when you factor in how long the cut lasts)
