AWFUL! Not only was my haircut by Julie terrible, but it took 3 hours and she didn't even dry it. When I got home and saw it I was so upset but the salon had closed for the day or I would have gone back. When I called to ask about getting it fixed, Julie was rude, told me I didn't know how to fix my own hair and insisted it would be fine. She never offered to fix it or give me suggestions of what to do till it could be fixed. I waited for my refund that she agreed to send me that week, but it never came so I called back and asked about it since she told me it would be in the mail. She was immediately upset, yelling at my, and again told me I just didn't know how to fix my hair (even though I am a grown woman). All I wanted was some help to fix my hair so I could go to work without pulling it up. The haircut was uneven, 3 inches shorter than I asked, and the highlights were terrible. I am not a picky person and it typically doesn't take much to please me. All I wanted was for her to offer to fix it. I will NEVER go back to Zion and I would never recommend it (I wouldn't even take my dog there).

Zion Hair is a hair salon, massage spa, and makeup parlor owned by two friendly, fabulous women. It is not a couture salon, but a comfortable spot with ladies who truly care about making any woman feel beautiful. Their wedding services are excellent, with hair styles that remain fresh through the day, and the upstairs room decor gets you in the mood for glamour, with leather sofas, frilly, whimsical pillows, and pictures of Marilyn Monroe on the walls. Some of the style magazines are a bit dated, but both ladies know how to update personal preferences. The mineral shadows, powders, and foundations Jill uses are made locally, and yield rich color that stays vibrant through humidity, tears, and toasts. Scheduling is a casual affair, with several locals stopping by for impromptu trims. A total gem.
