Ziba Luxury Salon & Spa in Charlotte, NC

I received a classic pedicure with an acrylic fill in and french tip and an acrylic overlay on my nails. I started getting serviced at 11:10 am and didn't leave until after 2 pm. My overall service was okay. I honestly wouldn't go back for a pedicure. It took a little over 2 hours for my pedicure which is NOT normal for me. The lady that did my pedicure was actually making uneasy/uncomfortable conversation with me. Just certain remarks she made, made me feel uneasy. Now to the pedicure.... I showed her a picture of a previous set I had. She put the wrong color acrylic on my right foot so she had to take it off and redo it. My French tip lines weren't as crisp/sharp as I would have liked but after 2 hours I didn't want to make a big deal of it. On top of that, I still had a little dead skin on my feet so I ended up scrubbing them at home. Now my nails came out pretty decent considering another young lady fitting me into her schedule and getting them done in about 50-55 minutes. I can't remember the exact breakdown but I wasn't happy to have paid $220 for my services.

Beautiful salon, me and my friend went for a mani and pedi on a Thursday morning. I made an appointment but it wasn't busy so I probably could've walked in. Kim and Chloe are great and friendly, had some good laughs. The pedi was $70, can't remember how much my fill in was. They had a plethora of chrome colors to choose from. Also, you get a complimentary drink if it's your first time, I had a mimosa which was delicious. Parking is in front of the salon  so I parked there but also there's a parking garage behind the salon. Both are free. 10/10 will return!

This is one of those reviews where I wish I could give half stars.  I don't know if three stars is enough but I feel that four is too many.  So a three star review it shall be.  It was a bit of a turn off when after I sat down another employee (working on someone else) asked me if I was April and when I said I was and asked why she said "just wondering". Ok but why??? That was weird.  The guy doing my nails did a good job but wasn't able to do designs.  So when I showed him a color online that I liked he said he could do it but the final result wasn't even close to the color I showed him.  The color was nice but don't tell me you can replicate a color if you can't.  My pedicure was good but I also don't like that they don't have plastic coverings.  Most places I go (yes, even nice places) use them and I like it because I know it's clean.  So overall, my nails look nice but I probably won't come here again.

Expensive but very high service levels. I like that you can have your nails and your pedicure don't at the same time. It's also great that they have full service hair and brow services. Also they have a cocktail bar as well. I mean how can you go wrong.

I scheduled a last minute appointment here the other day because I was in the area and was desperate!  The online booking was simple and there were plenty of openings available for me to get in quickly.

The salon itself is aesthetically very nice.  It's large, bright, clean and great design.  When I arrived I was promptly greeted and shown to the nail station.  They had a lot of color selections, standard OPI colors and some others.  

Paul was my nail tech and he was great! Tested my color options in advance with me, checked in along the way to make sure I was happy.  He was fast, but still had a great attention to detail.  I was really pleased with his work and would definitely go to him again!

Docking a star because the price was very expensive - $60 for a basic gel manicure.  I get that the area is pricey and this salon is trying to say they are "luxury", but it was honestly the same level of service and products I've received at every other nail salon, for way less.  I would go again because of the convenience, but I wouldn't seek it out if you are not in the area.
