Zen Nails & Day Spa in Reston, VA

Moved away for a while and I recently returned. Their facility is beautifully clean. You can now reserve time and check in on a tablet which is cool. You can pick your tech. Really great job, my toes are happy again.

Beautifully remodeled space at Lake Ann in Reston. Plush relaxing pedi spa chairs. This is my eighth year with Forever Shine. Congratulations on your new home. I can't wait to see what other spa and beauty services you will offer. Look at this pedicure. Thanks Kelly (she's there on weekends).

This salon was amazing. I read iffy reviews and hoped for the best, as this is the nail salon closest to my house and I didn't want to go across town in blistering heat. My oh my was I pleasantly surprised with the job and quality of nails here. Kelly took her time and made sure everything was done with perfection. The salon is extremely clean and refreshingly modern to be in as well. Of course I will be returning, what a great spot!

I will not be returning to this nail salon. There was a strong scent of polish as soon as u walk in (I recognize that is normal to an extent, but I could barely breathe, and it was a nice day so they could have left the door open for fresh air). Most of the polishes they had to choose from were dried out or old-looking. My two friends and I were meeting up for pedicures and we had an appointment. When I arrived, a few minutes early, there was one chair open so I was seated right away. My two friends came in shortly thereafter and had to wait until another customer and I were done for chairs, about 30 minutes later, so it was pointless for us to have made an appointment and planned to sit together. The women working on my nails first filled the water for my feet with hot water- so hot I had to pull my feet out. To fix it when I pointed it out, she added ice cold water which made it just uncomfortable. My chair was in a permanent back incline that I could not adjust, and there was no massage feature, which is common at most nail salons. My footrest was wobbly and not secure. My pedicurest sneezed twice (not into her hands, but still didn't bother to wash them) and continued working. I was in the last seat near the back and had a view of multiple boxes and unwrapped furniture. The salon was cramped and dirty, the workers were apathetic, and the experience was not relaxing. I do not recommend this salon.

the young girl who did the acrylic fill and gel manicure took her sweet time. she wasn't very experienced in it. my nails started chipping off in 3 days. I had to go to my regular place to have it fixed. the owner is very experienced and seems nice.
