Zemira Salon in Waikoloa Village, HI

Zemira is the BOMB. She can do things with dye that other stylists only dream of. My hair is not.....typical. It's crazy thick, curly, and very dense. Add to that hair challenge that I color it aquamarine/peacock and it makes it too complicated for the average hairdresser. Trust me, I have experienced more than my fair share of "too complicated for the average hairdresser" butchery than I want to remember.

So yesterday, after a multi month delay due to the corona virus, I went in to see Zemira. Instead of a touch up, we were starting from scratch again. It's flipping gorgeous. I got a fabulous cut and fantastic color.

What's a bonus about Zemira is that she is also worried about the health of your hair. She doesn't just jump in and kill your hair at your whim. She talks to you about what you want, the process, and the ramifications of your style choice. She knows what she is doing. Plus, she's a really nice person.

Do yourself a favor. Make an appointment. Go see Zemira. You'll look better for it.

Zemira did an amazing job on my Brazilian Blowout yesterday. She's a new business owner operating in Waikoloa Village on the Big Island of Hawaii. If you're on island and looking for an amazing hairdresser/stylist, you should definently look her up. You will NOT be disappointed.

Zemira recently leased Absolute Salon and is now running the place as her very own "Zemira Salon." Zemira is very knowledgable on anything hair. I have thick and dry Hawaiian hair and was pretty nervous about having someone I've never been to style it. My hair is NOT easy to work with, I literally fight with it every morning. But Zemira is very talented and she likes to talk out her process and recommendations with you. I guess you could say she really likes to talk hair lol. Zemira took the time to analyze my hair and explain to me what it is she recommends and why.

The salon itself is pretty nice, plus it's located right next to the food court, so you can literally treat yourself to a full on ME day. There's even a full body massage place around the corner if you wanna go all out on yourself, which you should lol. Zemira's Salon is beautiful and I'm sure it'll be going through constant changes/upgrades as Zemira progresses and grows further and stronger into her career.

I went in for a Brazillian Blowout which took a little over 3 hours because I have a ton of hair. Zemira made sure I knew exactly what to expect from the process and educated me on how I can make the most of my treatment in terms of it's longevity. Zemira wasn't even phased by the fact that my hair was long, thick, dry and curly. My hair is normally a fright in the morning, but Zemira just looked at my hair like it wasn't even a challenge. I'm so glad I found a stylist who I can trust. I will gladly drive the hour and a half to see Zemira for all my hair care needs from here on out. I have been officially "Zemirafied." I'll post my before and after photos so you can see just how well Zemira took care of me. Y'all better contact her right away, cause I'm about to book her for the rest of eternity.
