The Carnivore occasionally needs professional grooming care and thanks to Mrs. Carnivore, he has discovered Zach, the owner of this establishment. Zach is a wonderful person, and deserves your hair alteration business. Whether you require a simple buzz with a clipper, a little shaping for your beard, or indeed if you are a woman-folk and have more elaborate requests and requirements, Zach is well equipped to take care of you. Ladies, you might run the risk of getting mauled (in a good way, of course) from your significant other after a visit. I have never seen anyone walking out looking worse than when they walked in. He even is skilled enough to turn a fellow into a passable Santa! You really owe it to yourself to experience the offerings at this hair cuttery. Mrs Carnivore has just informed me that it is actually called a salon-spa. Zach has just moved in to his new location, and a range of spa services are available, with more coming in the future. The Carnivore is not likely to sit down for a pedicure that doesn't involve immersing his feet in a piranha pond, but never say never. Besides, those fish need to file their teeth down on something every now and again. The Carnivore has also recently been made aware that not all people care for their fingernails with a belt sander, and though this sounds strange, a more traditional method of nail-prettying is done here. Zach also employs someone called an "Aesthetician" which the Carnivore understands to be a person skilled and schooled in making people look better through skin and body hair care. Massage may be offered here in the future. Back to Zach. He is not pretentious, has a delightful sense of humor, and can talk to you as much as you would like about almost anything you can think of. He is quite witty, smart, and well informed. I think next time I am in, we might talk about various techniques for field dressing and skinning a Buick. As I mentioned before, he also does hair-altering for women. Honestly, the Carnivore believes that is primarily what he does and he just tolerates him every so often. Mrs. Carnivore has benefited from Zach's hair styling knowledge and experience for years now, and the Carnivore is quite taken with his work. Scheduling has never been a problem, and in the unlikely event of an unforeseen issue, rescheduling has never presented an issue. The Carnivore gets his hair cut here, and you should too! (Though Mrs. Carnivore would probably be a better endorsement--she patronizes ZRH as well)

I've been coming here for about 5 years. I used to have to retouch my brown hair from the gray every 6-8 weeks. Since covid, I embraced my silver hair and stopped coloring so it eventually grew out. It took awhile and today I had bayalage brown added to my silver hair and a layered cut by Sydney. Sydney is super friendly. She had good ideas for my hair. The online booking is a pain, so I called and left a message and an appointment was scheduled with Sydney over the phone. When you accrue points based on purchases you get discounts. I'm close to 1000 points and a 50% discount that can even be used on product. Zach cut my son's hair a year ago for senior photos and did a great job. Zach is super hard to get scheduled with. They moved to a closer location by Petsmart at 14256 Plymouth Ave in Burnsville. They added more space, nail tech and spa services. The bayalage will be low maintenance compared to foils. Added some contrast to silver hair.

Zach is the best! His salon is welcoming and comfortable. He has been cutting and coloring my hair for several years. He always listens to what I want and gives great suggestions. I always love my hair. Zach also cuts my 2 daughter's hair as well as my son's hair. He has a great rapport with kids and really listens to what they want also. Zach carries Kevin Murphy hair products which are excellent and a great value. I love the body builder and the doo.over spray.

Zero stars. I went in on May 10th to get a revamp on my ombré and I had a Groupon. Lexi said I had to pay her an extra 35$ and didn't honor my Groupon. Ok. So she does my hair. The bleach she did fried my ends to a shrivel it was also three colors and the blond was orange. she pulls your hair damn near out and then offered to curl it but I didn't feel like getting burned so I declined. I got in the car and I immediately saw what their lighting and mirrors didn't show ( they sit you far away from the mirror). I called back and offered to drive 30 miles to the salon as I live far away to have her fix it and she refused and so did the owner I had to go the whole weekend looking like a party clown with brassy hair. I had to wait til Tuesday for them to fix it and they wouldn't refund me the extra money for the ombré even though I had them just dye it back brown like before. You're supposed to like your hair after a trip to the salon not be humiliated by a salon they were difficult to contact and I almost didn't get my hair fixed by them I paid 100$ for a hack job and then for my hair to be brown after all here's some photos to deter you DO. I got my hair done by a stylist at the salon, who seemed very rushed and did not seem to know how to apply a baIayage. I pointed out that the coloring was uneven and stripy, and was told it'd even out. Upon going home I realized it was much worse, with the highlights haphazard and splotchy. Zach had me come back to apply a toner to get me through a few days. I ended up going to another salon and spending $300 to have it corrected.
