Great local business owner to support. Has all my hair needs and the knowledge to back it up. I was recommended by a friend and I haven't looked back since! That old school hair stylist I have been looking for cleans and stubs my scalp. While she isn't taking new clients I love her knowledge she gives each customer when coming in to purchase new items. 10 out of 10 would recommend any day

I was looking at hair colors for my daughters first time getting braids. I wanted to stay local. I found Young's Beauty Supply had all my answers. I was helped by the owner who was wonderful. She helped me and my daughter pick out the perfect color and hair. She was very resourceful and such a pleasant person to talk with. I will be coming back for all my daughters hair needs. Thanks for helping my daughter pick out exactly what she wanted

Hair shop and salon .... What more could you ask for! Friendly staff. Had what I needed and happens to be the only store like it's kind in Vacaville. My daughter loved her colorful beads.

If i could put negative stars I definitely would. I was excited when I found out about the first black owned beauty supply here in Solano county. I went in asking for braiding hair and crochet hair for a bohemian knotless braid hairstyle. I even showed the lady the hair style . She provided me with the proper braiding hair as well as hair for the curls added into the braid. I also bought a bunch of other things. When I returned home i realized she sold me track hair.. ok not going to work I then returned to the store immediately and explained to her that it wasn't the right hair. She got so rude from that point saying that there were signs around the store that there were no exchanges and refunds. like girl i could of understood that but i did not see not one sign about no returns . Just the tone in her voice and her professionalism was a complete turn OFF NEVER AGAIN . This ain't my first encounter of this lady being rude either! Not even a i'm sorry for the inconvenience like there is a way to talk to people.

The items here are low quality. I bought a bonnet that said silk/satin and it wasn't either, it was cotton. The fabric wasnt stretchable as advertised. I asked for a refund and the first thing the lady said was since they were a small business that normally wouldn't be possible but they find it acceptable to sell low quality items? The same way they take the money, they can give it back. She then said they dont do refunds and there is a sign on the front that says that...there's not, and if there was no refunds why didn't you start with that when i asked instead of being passive and making excuses like you could but just didn't want to? If that was a set rule, the lady could've opened her statement with that instead of saying "we normally dont do refunds because we're a small business". Like what does this being a small business have to do with my refund and that the products are poor quality and falsely advertised. Small, big, whatever businesses should learn how to have good products for customers as well as how to deal with when a customer is not happy with their products. The lack of professionalism as well was a big turn off. I really wanted to support and normally don't complain but this was so awful it needed to be said
