Yoso Wellness Spa in Santa Cruz, CA

Dr. Lauren is a superb acupuncturist. I called last minute in need of a self-care day, and they were able to fit me in. I registered for acupuncture, but what I received was cupping, acupuncture, a bit of massage, and facial reflexology. The experience was SO healing overall, and pretty affordable as well for a 90 minute treatment! I emerged from the treatment as a fresh and grounded person. I highly highly recommend this spa and Dr. Lauren.

I was given a gift card to Yoso Wellness Spa, and made an appointment with Beth for a 90 min. facial. Beth's service was phenomenal!! I have never experienced such care, attention, and excellence while receiving a facial. Oh, the smells, feels and excellent products left my face clean, nourished, and the best it has looked in a long time. I loved that products were not pushed on me afterward. I will definitely be returning. Also, the place is just lovely as were the other staff members.

Beth was wonderful! She made the brazilian experience smooth and guided me through the pain with breathing experiences and counting down. The Spa has reasonable prices and made the wax feel like a spa treatment as well. Loved the calming music and warm towel.

**My first experience here was great a few years ago that gets a few stars. I recently went here in search of a natural prenatal facial and was very disappointed. The esthetician Beth, that gave me the facial did not listen to anything I said to her. I had to repeatedly ask her NOT to apply products over my eyes as I wear contacts, she had very heavy hands and I could barely breath while she was going over my nose. I couldn't see at the end of the facial as there was so much product applied to my eyes and had to ask her for a wipe, she handed me a dry paper.. I had to ask her to wet it to so I could get the product off my eyes. She also used red light therapy on me which is great when you aren't pregnant but as far as I've read it's not recommended to use on a pregnant women. When I arrived I also told the esthetician I was interested in purchasing products, I even told her what types of products I wanted, but she did not tell me a single product she was using on me nor recommended anything at the end and the facial experience was so bad I was not about to ask for her recommendations again. I broke out the next day as she left my face with a large amount of massage lotion that she just rubbed into it, which i told her when I arrived that I have been struggling with breakouts. Waste of money wish I went somewhere else.

Relaxing, professional practitioners. Left like a bowl of jelly. Loved my spa day. A wonderful place to relax.
