Asked to get a soak off for my acrylics, they took them off with a metro card. The guy who did it ASKED me to tip him when he didn't do what I wanted. Had to pay $10. Ridiculous.
I was a walk in on a Sunday. My nails were a mess and I had just flown to NY for a wedding. The folks there were nice and polite, they did an excellent job on my nails ( basic manicure, clear polish). Very reasonable. If I lived in the area they would be my go to.
My friend treated me to a pedi for my birthday. We didn't have to wait long. The tech didn't soak my feet, he rub some lotion and hot rocks on my legs for about one minute. He proceeded to paint my nails without cutting the cuticles or trimming them. I stopped him and told him too. My first pedi since covid. whole pedi was about 20 mins, 10 0f them was used under the dryer. SOOOOOOOOOOOO disappointed.
If I can give this place 0 stars, I definitely would! I've been going to this location for more than 3 years. I feel like lately the workers have been VERY lazy. A regular pedicure should not take 10-15 minutes!! It's at max 30+. They rush for the next customer, don't put the effort in and the job looks horrible. Ive given them the benefit of the doubt way too many times especially when I come every 2-3 weeks and spend almost $100 on simple things! I thought I lucked out when I found this place and unfortunately they have proved me wrong. I even tried switching nail techs and the same outcome. I don't know if it's because they're lazy or what, but even management has gone down. All I can say is they're all super rude and LAZY! Do not come here! It'll definitely make you sad once the job is done and most people don't say anything until it's over. THEN that's you're responsibility to attempt to fix!
Went there with a previous appointment for a pedi and gel manicure. I did not feel welcomed and the worker started to speak in her language and had attitude. They had customers walking right past me who asked for service without appt. I felt they were discriminating. Goes without saying I never returned and made sure to not recommend to anyone.
