XOXO Salon in Denver, CO

Came in for first time, liking the way my hair was growing out but needing the edges trimmed & maybe a few chunky lowlights in front.
Referred by Rocco to Adria, "color specialist." I spent close to 4 hours in the chair.  Wrapped in bleach peroxide to remove "old color," followed by 20 minutes under hot hair dryer.  TWICE.  Adria then proceeded to ignore my request for a few chunky lights, & applied color all over. The "trim" I wanted ended up a very bad, lop-sided shag; cut close around one ear but left long on the other side.  You might ask why I didn't speak up, which I did several times.  Hard to tell when one's back is to the mirror.
I was visiting Denver & am now home, but if possible, I would walk in today & show them my still blistered scalp & damaged hair that breaks every time I touch it.  All for the tidy price of almost $400.

I purchased a Groupon deal for balayage with Nigel. Unfortunately, I was asked to leave after discussing what I wanted and service was denied. I have been getting my hair highlighted for the last 10 years and I have NEVER been asked to leave a salon. Nigel was focused on maintaining his reputation, but little confused as he is depending on Groupon discounts for clients? Additionally, Nigel did not even attempt to reach a resolution of perhaps providing other services that would equate to the Group value. Instead, I have been back and forth with Groupon still trying to get refunded. Very disappointed in this entire experience.

Great color and cut from Nigel!  Went in with brassy color that I did myself and left with an excellent color that was exactly what I had described to Nigel.  Very good cut that got rid of dried out ends but still left my length.  I will definitely be a return customer!

My sister recommended Nigel to style my hair for her wedding pre Covid era.  I loved it!!  Then Covid happened and the world shut down.  So, during Covid my husband became my "hairstylist".  Until I decided I no longer wanted long hair and he tried valiantly to chop off 10-12 inches.  But it was mutilated!!!  I asked my sister for Nigel's contact information again and was able to make an appointment online easily.  Nigel laughed, lied and said my husband did a "good job" and that luckily, he could fix it.  I showed him pictures of the "messy" bob hairstyle I liked and fix it he did!!  He washed, cut a zillion different ways, dried, and styled it.  It was beyond my expectations.  I walked out of there feeling younger and 10 pounds lighter if that's a possibility!  Lol. When my husband saw me, he was impressed and said "that's exactly the look I was going for!"  PAY your hairstylist instead of having your spouse do it.  PAY Nigel to make your hair dreams come true!  :) Fantastic hair stylist and person!  Thank you Nigel and Amy (sis)!

I absolutely loved this hair salon and my haircut with Nigel King. I would give 10 stars if I could and I highly recommend Nigel's hair services to anybody in Denver. In addition to his 10 years of experience and obvious skill, I really appreciate it be fun and welcoming energy and enjoyed chatting with me hairstylist. The product line he uses for shampoo and hair mask left my hair feeling incredible and I left the salon feeling happy and like a new transformed person. I can't wait to come back for a trim and hair color soon
