Woodhouse Spa - Nashville in Nashville, TN

BEAUTIFUL Spa!! The FD staff was very professional and accommodating. All of the therapists providing us services were excellent. I Highly recommend.

Do not waste your money at this so-called "luxury Spa"..Everything about is cheap starting with the decor which is obviously all from TJ Maxx to the products they use in their treatment rooms that don't bring good results and yet they take advantage of their clients with their pricing for their services. There are so many other better quality Spa's in Nashville to go to..I strongly recommend that you keep looking...The Woodhouse Spa in Nashville is awful.

Found this place on Yelp when visiting late October. Luckily, they had an available couples massage appointment that worked for our schedule. The day of our appt, we visited Centennial Park. If you're up to it, you can walk here from there. (I think it was about 10-15 min walk.) It wasn't a bad walk at all. Not that far from Vanderbilt University. We had enough time to kill to even stop at a Starbucks along the walk to the spa. Small location, next to the hotel. It doesn't have as many showers or a huge locker room, but it's just as nice as any other place I've been. The only things missing are the sauna/steam/hot tub, but I already knew that going in based on the reviews and looking at their site.

Staff was really friendly and my massage therapist helped alleviate some pain I was having - probably because of the walking and just all the stuff that goes with traveling. When we landed in Nashville a couple of days before our appt, we had an incident happen to us that caused a bunch of stress for my bf and me. We were both stressed out, which is why I booked us a couples massage to help us de-stress, relax, and get us in a better mindset to enjoy the rest of our vacation.

We agreed we would definitely consider coming back if we were ever in Nashville again. I would have to say that even with gratuity, I thought the price was reasonable considering what the prices are for a similar service and place at home. The place was clean, nicely set up, and the waiting area was so nice and put you in a great mood. They gave us options for drinks and I opted for the mimosas, because why not!? Oh and by the way, the photos for the waiting area seem to be outdated. I definitely don't remember it looking like what the photos show on Yelp. They have definitely updated the waiting room. The only photo I took was of me and my bf enjoying our mimosas and snacks but I had to put the photo in of that cool wall with the fire.

I've had many massages but this was not great. The staff was friendly, facility while no frills was clean and cozy. My masseuse was just seemingly very unskilled in the art of massage.
My massage started 15 minutes late....
While kind and attentive the masseuse applied uneven and painful pressure with boney part of fingers on top of my bones confusing them with tight muscles. I winced in pain and the masseuse didn't seem to clue in that she was causing pain and I was just too nervous to say anything.

Overall the stars are for cleanliness and friendliness because I am leaving in pain and have a headache :( wish I had the gall to ask for my money back.

The masseuse was great but if I can't get through to anyone to book my next massage, what good is it? I called 4 times today...once on hold for so long, I hung up. Then I left messages...someone called me back but I was in a meeting. I tried one last time only to get vm again. WHAT is going on???
