WINK Your Eyes in Baton Rouge, LA

Stopped in today to get my lashes done I usually get individual lashes but today I was in a hurry so I decided to get mink strips instead entering the establishment there was no greeting so I just sat down until someone came up front after finishing their client and had I been checked in I said no he checked me in and I had a seat shortly after a young lady called my name I went over she asked what service I wanted I told her she did one lash started it over ask for help a guy assisted and gave her a quick lesson on how to do the other lash in which she was having trouble with now the he help with is fine but the other no she tried to rush through it but when I looked in mirror it was not the same as the other after 3 attempts now my eye is burning from solution she used to clean it again she ask another associate to help her this time the associate says this is tacky you need to start over and at this point I'm ready to so I just ask them to remove them and I left glue stuck on my lashes and lids smh this my second bad experience here ! In the future if someone is struggling help them take over and get the customer out there don't leave the client and coworker to figure it out

I had my eyebrows and eyelashes tinted here last week. Paid $50, & the tint lasted two days. Would not recommend.

So tired of trying with Wink...

I've visited Wink ever so often since they've been outside of the mall where the Luxe Nail Bar is now located. I've gone for everything from makeovers to eyelash extensions to brow tinting to just buying products. Don't get me wrong, I love their mineral eye shadows. My first makeover turned out beautifully. However, Wink can be VERY unprofessional.

My first instance of feeling this way is when I went in in October 2016 for an eyebrow shape and fill and left with my face.

On Friday, October 16, around 1 pm, I stopped in for a razor and fill in. I waited briefly, and when it was my turn, I asked if I could instead get a wax. They lady who was going to razor my brows then told me I would have to wait because she didn't wax brows, which was fine. I asked her if she could still do my fill in, to which she replied yes.  I waited for another 30 minutes or so, up to a point where a young lady (I believe her name was Ashley) asked if I would rather just get them razored because it would be quicker. Seeing that I had to work at 3, I obliged. Ashley (if I'm not mistaken) then told a girl that had come in shortly before, to razor and fill in my brows. The girl then turned very slowly and walked away at an almost uncomfortable to tolerate pace. Ashley noticed as well, asking "Why are you moving so slow?" A bit agitated, I decided to give this girl a chance because I saw that the lady that I wanted was busy with another customer. The girl that did my brow left me with cuts below my brows. I was so upset that I left.

This is what I sent to Wink when I reached out on Instagram, to which they just offered a free wax or fill in on my next visit.

Around 2 weeks ago, I tried to visit again slams had a poor experience with poorly waxed brows from a tweezer-happy technician. The employees are inattentive and seem very disengaged. I don't be going back.

Called and asked if I could have my eyebrows waxed, they said sure. No problem. No appointment necessary. Just walk in. Cool. I walk in 5 minutes later and they said they couldn't see me because everyone was busy and they wouldn't be able to see me for the rest of the evening! I asked what was going on, they said that they don't make appointments for eyebrow waxing because it's not how they make their most money. Waste of my time!

Oh no! Do not go here for lashes. This was my first experience with extensions and it was awful. The place is dirty, the girls are rude and unprofessional and the woman doing my lashes glued everything together - no no no. I learned the hard way. Go to a trained Extreme Lash professional - experts like Rebecca at Epiphany. It's worth it.
