Wink Salon & Spa in Portsmouth, NH

I just moved to this area about 6 months ago, so I had to find a new hair dresser.  After a cut and color at another salon that didn't work out, I went online to carefully review other options.  I stumbled upon Wink salon and the great reviews it and Angela got.  I just had my first appointment last week with Angela for a color and cut.  What GREAT luck to have found her!

She is as sweet as she is talented.  I don't have the best head of hair to work with (thin and fine with some recent har loss), but she was able to do wonders.  After taking a lot of time to discuss my issues and style wishes ,she worked her magic.  She is pleasant and professional and very conscience about the salon and its reputation.  It is clear she wants all customers to have the best experience possible.  It is also very apparent that she cherishes her clients and takes great pride in her business.  

I am thrilled to have found this great salon and plan to be a permanent client of Angela's.  

Oh,  and the decor is just stunning (and clean)!  It sparkles with old Hollywood glam.

Highly recommended! I contacted Angela after using a gift certificate at another salon in town and receiving an awful cut and color from one of their "stylists" and Angela was able to quickly get me in for a color correction appointment. When I arrived, after pouring me a necessary glass of wine, she walked me through what was done wrong and what she'd be doing to fix it, reassuring me along the way. Angela was patient, professional, friendly, empathetic, and fun. She has exceptional customer service and makes every client feel welcome and like a friend. She took her time making sure she fixed every aspect of my color and cut, and the results were beautiful! I will absolutely be trusting her with my hair from now on!

Don't book here if you are from out of town. I had an appt for months
anticipating needing a wash/blow dry while I was visiting. I get called
5 hours before my appointment saying I was canceled, very unprofessional.

I can't express enough how much of a hair genius Kaylee has been to my hair ! After a horrible and I mean HORRIBLE hair bleaching experience at another salon I was scarred that my hair was an extreme lost cause and their was no fixing or helping the damage , I found Kaylee threw Instagram after spending countless hours doing some research to find the perfect hair stylist to help me out and thank the heavens I've made the right choice ! This girl can seriously do color and work magic on your hair ! I love how blunt and honest she is and how much she generally cares about her clients instead of looking to just make a buck , She not only conditioned and fix my hair color but she introduced me to the best hair extension method that causes the least amount of damage ! I legit travel all the way from south Portland ME to Portsmouth NH Just to get my hair done by her and will not go to anyone else my hair has never looked or felt better and my confidence has boost so much after having one too many bad hair days ! I receive nothing but compliments daily thanks to her I am so happy  !

Love the product line they carry. Love the girls and the quality of the work they do! Go for a relaxing blowout, or trust anyone on their team to truly make you fabulous for a special occasion. They are #1 on the Seacoast for a reason. Grab a glass of wine while they do their work- and leave with some new friends. I definitely look forward to my appointments at Wink!
