I was a little disappointed with the overall atmosphere of a salon that held an AVEDA title. I'm used to the whole AVEDA experience - scalp massage while shampooing, offer for an arm/hand massage or a neck massage, front desk staff offering you a beverage while you wait, etc. I'm an AVEDA privilege member and was never asked if I was and for my account information. I assumed that for such a high traffic area it would always be busy, but even during the week there were only a few people in staff at one time. A layer of dust covered unused stations/equipment/even the hallway. Once checked in, the front desk staff pretty much ignore you. My sylist did an ok job, but I definitely had the impression they only wanted to do one highlight color and get me in/out of the chair as fast as possible in order to take another client while I was processing. I'll be making the trip to Cincinnati/Northern KY to go back to my previous salon because they just treated me so much better there.
This used to be my spot to get my hair cut when I lived in Indinana. Even though I moved across the country, I still try and visit when I am in the area. Joey is the best, and does a really great job with both men's and women's hair! And is head massages are AWESOME! So glad for this trendy salon!
Spacious, clean, bright, and warm. Great spot on the outside of the mall so not too far to walk. Friendly and lively atmosphere and of course that Aveda smell! I recommend Wildflowers
My wife went recently and came home with her skin on her forehead being stained. The excuse she got was "we ran out of the stuff to keep that from happening and it will go away." My wife is stressed because not all the grays were covered and she does not want confrontation to go back. Paying $124 we expect a better quality job and service.
I'm new to the area so this was my first appointment here and I have found my new salon. Maddie did an awesome job! I had my roots touched up, partial highlights and eyebrow wax in 1 hour. I've spent up to 3 hrs in a salon chair before. This was a great experience. Thanks!
