Wave Salon is the best! Dara is the best. I think I've been going here for 8 years?!? I now drive 45 min each way to stick with Dara. She makes me like my hair after years of not liking my hair. And of course she is also kind, smart and witty, so the chit chat while the magic happens is a bonus!
Dara is a very talented stylist and an excellent color specialist. She is also very personable and fun to talk to, I highly recommend Wave Salon!
Beware of last minute cancellations! I've scheduled an appointment with Dara (the owner) at the beginning of June. The night before my appointment she emailed me that she has to cancel. I reached back to her numerous times to reschedule she said she will get back to me. It's been a week and she still hasn't contacted me. I think this is very unprofessional and inconsiderate, and I will be looking some where else.

I've been looking for a hairstylist in the Kona area (for the past four years) and I'm happy to report that I've finally found the very best! Dara runs a beautiful salon that is very clean, comfortable, and fun. She is very personable and professional and you will love working with her to achieve your desired look. I showed her a couple of pictures and explained what kind of cut I wanted and she helped me achieve the look I was going for.
