Today my daughter went to get her nails done at this place and usually service it's not that bad but today the lady with the pink hair that did my daughter nail was so rude to her and messed up my daughter nails and this is for her graduation, my daughter was charged before getting her nails done and was being forced to tip even before getting her service done.Tips are optional and sometimes some people just have enough to get their nails done specially if they young smh. If you want more money get yourself a different job, respectfully .I'm changing salons.
I will never come back to this establishment. I just got my nails and feet done yesterday and today my nail polish started chipping. I called and was told that I had three days and they would fix. Unfortunately, I was headed out of town. When I told the person on the phone my situation. She told me "that wasn't her problem." Totally unprofessional. If I could give -1 stars I would! I spent over $100 and gave a $10 tip!
Normally my backup salon, but I got acrylic nails and needed them removed. Well even though I made an appt., I sat with my nails "soaking" for an hour. Do you know what happens in that time? The glue starts to spread to your skin and the cotton dries and is glued to your skin. So I had a film of nail glue and cotton whisps stuck to my skin. Normal for a basic acrylic removal? No. They don't respect people's time at all. I've seen it so many times with other clients saying 5-10 min wait but knowing fully that it would be 30 min+. So I sat there with my nails "soaking" for an hour watching them complete everyone else's long services, which is fine, but if they knew they wouldn't get to me for even 30+min. the decent thing would've been to say maybe come back later. Instead they stuck me in a chair for an hour with acetone melting my acrylic nails to my fingers and skin. Vivi nails is officially on pause for me.
My go to nail salon was closed so I tried out this place. I got a regular gel mani and was soooo disappointed. Bad quality :( the shape is uneven and the gel is crowding my nail beds. Really disappointed. I also had two broken nails and spent $5 each to "fix them" and they just put really thick globby powder on them and then didn't file down (ring finger in the pic). I would go to Nail on 5th. I love them and they are the exact same price with a quality 100000x better.
Lovely experience! Was seated straight away for a gel mani- I had had a previously just miserable experience in Kensington area where my poor nails were battered and I had to try and fix them at home. My nail artist was thorough, concise and made sure to truly make the nails cared for and I didn't feel rushed or that I was someone to be just swiftly dealt with for another customer. My nails were shot at this point so she really took her time to make sure they were fit for being painted and her technique for painting my nails short and black ensured even coating. Not a bad price either! Will definitely go back for the full experience.
