Vip Spa & Nails in Bossier City, LA

This is a bittersweet review. While the nail tech does an amazing job on pedi's, he is not reliable. Multiple times throughout the year that I have been going every two weeks, he will text me to reschedule because he wants to do something with family. Ok, I get it, family comes first. However, I recently had a manicure done and ended up with a crack. I had made an appointment to get it fixed the next day. When I showed up for the appointment, they looked at me like I was crazy and when I explained what was going on, they stated "oh, he went home". That's it! No text, no phone call. Unfortunately for me, I'm left searching for a new nail tech as reliability is pretty important.

I got my nails done June 16. I had to go back June 19 because cracks began to form across my nail. She fixed it and said she didn't know why it did it, but told me it wouldn't happen again. Days later they began to crack again not even days probably about one day. I returned on June 27 to get them fixed. Typically there are two ladies that are there but this time it was a man. Soon as I walked through the door he greeted me as if I was Getting on his nerves. .He asked me what happen.... I told him that since I got them they had been cracking straight across and all I did for one to completely crack was picked up a towel, to which he replied, "really is that all that happened" as if he didn't believe me. Now let's just get this straight I never asked him to do anything for free or to fix my nails for free; I was actually going in to get a polish change and a fix on the broken nail and a color change on my toes. He sits at the station to do my nails but then leaves and goes and helps another lady. He comes back over to me and lets out a big sigh and is still asking about my nails and how they got broken he even told me "well maybe you should wear shorter nails or maybe get them thicker", I asked him is he trying to blame me because in my opinion this would definitely be due to cheap products. There was no reason for him to blame me as a customer for my nails cracking There's no reason to tell me that I should get my nails shorter or thicker! I've worn my nails long most of my life and I've never had this happen before! You criticize your customer instead of checking your staff and your products that you're using which are very much so cheap. I will literally never spend another dime in this nail shop. I spent $125 on my nails and toes and got treated like a child. How dare you chastise me over some shit that I'm about to pay for!!!!! Learn to take ownership and be accountable not to mention invest in better products Fuck this nail shop I'm never coming back here again. He made me so uncomfortable I just got up and left. Wow. What a wonderful little place off the beaten path. After a long day standing at a trade show on a work trip I was ready to sneak off for some "me" time. Glad I did. I got a pedicure and the owner who also did my pedicure took extra time to be sure my feet were extra smooth even went back multiple times if she felt something rough which is wonderful. I got a shellac polish which turned out great and will last weeks.

$60 well spent!

Stay away!!! Went to purchase gift card for Mother's Day .... she changed price three times

Called in to see if they'd do pedicures at 4:50 on Sunday because the hours on yelp say they're open until 6:30 and they said they would. When we got there we saw the hours are only until 5 but they stayed and gave us both amazing pedicures. I highly recommend this place, very friendly people, very clean and they give a 10% military discount!
