VIP Nails in Dickson, TN

Great salon. Recommend highly. I get the dip on nails and toes and it last for weeks. Pedicures are also awesome. Lynn H is fantastic.

So this just happened today.Here's my experience at Vip Nails. First, I waited about an hour for the pedicure but the lady was very nice. We chatted and giggled the whole time. Great pedicure. Thank you so much. Then it was time for my nails so  I asked about pink & white dip with tips as I have done before or sparkle pink & white as I have also done. I was open to fun ideas just for sure wanted white tip. She moved me to a seat where a guy came up to help me with the nails but as he came up he started asking me if I want ombré not white tip in a hateful way and we then began to discuss it as I looked at the nail boards. I was happy & excited and open minded and showed him a photo from this summer to give him an idea in which he told me it looked awful so I said then what will look good ?  He began grinding and to place tips on one hand aggressively with an unpleasant attitude telling me how bad my other nails looked  and demanded I just pick one basically.  He told just tell me exactly what you want and don't change your mind since I had not picked the sparkle color. I had no idea that would make him so mad but he was having a bad day. That attitude just changed my experience because I don't want any person ever talking down to me when I'm there supporting their business.   I tried to stay positive and even apologized for making him frustrated but he was obnoxious in how he spoke and handled me so  I finally said I don't think I'm going to do it right now maybe another time "trying" to politely leave without confrontation. He said I'm charging you whether you do it or not. Wow.  There is never ever a reason to be hateful to your customer or demand payment when you didn't do my nails or act like it's an inconvenience to have a discussion or make a suggestion he did.  

I went to check out  for my $45 pedicure and he followed me and added $20 for his 5-10 minutes of grinding my nails  and a few random tips he glued on and was sure to speak rudely in front of other customers. I don't know his name and he told me he is the owner.  I'm not an unpleasant person and handled it the best I could and try to have grace but this guy got paid $20 and I didn't refuse to pay it because I was happy to be leaving .  I feel bad that he felt I was indecisive but have never been treated that way in any nail place in all these years just the opposite. I certainly regret going there.

Took one hour to get a pedicure and left us in water the whole time. Don't waste yours!

The management is downright rude. My girlfriend asked the guy at the front how long of a wait it would be to have a manicure. He said, "Not long." (?)
The manager came up and asked what we wanted. My girlfriend replied as before to which he rudely replied, "How about making an appointment instead of asking how long it will take? We are busy." He then turned around and walked away. What a jerk. These people are in business to serve customers. They need us to stay in business. We do not need them. There are plenty of other good nail salons in Dickson. I suggest you try one of them and leave arrogant people to themselves.

Would not come back here. Asked for a specific acrylic nails and got the worst nails ever. Had to pay again to fix them at a different place. They do not even deserve a star.
