I made an appt as a referred client while looking for a hair braiding salon that would not wreck havoc on my real hair and edges. Bullseye... they are it. I requested and got Tie Zillions with wavy ends and multi color 2B and honey blonde. Absolutely gorgeous and only took less then 4 hours one REALLY short hair. None of my edges were tight and I'm 2 weeks in and I have not loss a single braid. Amazing job and I will be returning.

No star There is no reason I should gotten harassed after paying for my hair to get done- I payed 200 dollars for unfinished work after confirming and proving to Sophia that she has gotten her money through zelle which she told me to send her the money to THere is no reason at all that no establishment shouldn't not have a debit or credit- it is the 21st century and it is not the customers fault that not only after twenty years of working customer service you still do not have that establish and that you didn't have a sign up saying that you only except cash and NOT credit! That is not the customers fault at all!!!! Get it together!!!! There shouldn't be screaming across the room while people are getting their hair done!!!! There shouldn't be a girl behind me popping and smacking gum the whole time (4-5 hours straight) while she's doing my hair... And since my sisters ex fiancé was African and I picked up some word that these ladies were saying .... those swords shouldn't have been said!! It is wrong to call people animals and tell them they are illiterate because they don't know how y'all system work (said after peaking to a customer over the phone) and you shouldn't have been talking about peoples hairs calling a girl bald and calling my hair nappy and hard to work with. That was mean and unprofessional!!! Also you should tell people what to do exactly with their hair before coming. I had my hair prepped and properly oiled and the girl took a towel and dried all the oil away... last time we came here they made my sister walk to get cash (and yes I told her I would drive her but they still weren't finished with my hair so she told me to keep getting my hair did) and she's only sixteen and they knew she was sixteen because they asked her... Everybody's experience is different... mines was even different from before I'm just explaining my experience. Sophia treated me like a child and scolded me the whole time I was there... I'm twenty five working over forty hours a week and with a kid, house and bills!!!! Never judge a book by its cover lady I could've bought all those girls hairstyles!!!! Then when I proved that I paid her (even her workers told her I did and that zelle don't always happen instantly but she was the one that suggested it) she told the girl to stop working on my hair. I wanted long box braids braided all the way down and curled at the tips and didn't get that at all... I don't know if she(they) were boutta start menstrual cycles or they mistaken me as a child.... Either way things went left real quick for no reason and could've been avoided!

I've been to this salon twice. Both times I called and asked for a same day appointment, and I was accommodated. The ladies in the shop are all nice and do good work. My recent visit I got medium long box braids for $185. Two people started on my hair at 1PM and I was finished at 516PM. This time around was extremely painful. The braids are so tight they I ran cold water on my hair the next day. It was so painful that I even considered removing the braids. Today makes 6 days since I got my hair done, and my braids are still super tight. My scalp is covered with scabs. I have to constantly oil my hair for instant relief. I give this place 4 stars because they do good service, and you get what you pay for. If your tender headed, this may not be the place for you. I don't think I will be back.

First time here... I have been to other African shops previous and I would say this is one of the better shops. Yes, they definitely still braid tight as *^%# but my braids look very nice. They were professional and very timely. I stopped in the day before to get a price and make an appointment. Came back a little earlier than my appointment time and was seated right away. I had two braiders most of the time and they were somewhat considerate of my tender scalp. They worked 4 hours non-stop. I would return.
