Viet Nails in University Place, WA

I always enjoy my service here. They are clean, respectful, and take their time. Very organized and friendly. They play soft relaxing music and don't rush you. Very professional i and always get what i ask for!!

I have officially found my go to nail salon! I've heard a lot about Viet Nails and finally booked an appointment for a deluxe pedicure and gel manicure. When I arrived, I was greeted by staff and told to pick my color(s). I had an inspiration picture of cat eye nails for my hands and just got plain white toes. Although the inspo pic and my final result nails don't look that similar, I love the final look (the picture doesn't do it justice)! When I sat down for my pedicure, I was given the option of what scent that I wanted my soak, scrub and lotion to be in and I went with green tea. The employee was meticulous with her work and took her time with the pedicure and didn't rush the process like other places I've gone to in the past have. With the deluxe, it included paraffin wax, sugar scrub, hot stones, hot towel, and a massage. I thoroughly enjoyed my appointment as well as the service and will definitely be back!

I usually love and very happy with this place..been going since May..but the last few times ive gone seems like they don't want to give you what you want and what's easiest for them..this last time seemed like I was just a problem for them and they were open about it.. I had shown them the picture and said they could..and when it was looking real thick French tip and asked for it thinner..then showed pic again. She told me well she'll have to charge more if I want the picture. I said totally fine that's what I want..and then eye roll and proceed to speak to her co worker...and sat there for another hour..definitely disappointed because I did like going here.. but if you're paying for it..you should feel like you are the problem. And they still ended up looking like how originally she was doing it .."cheaper price option " I'll be finding a new nail place now.

T was very sweet and kind. He did my nails in a timely manner! Very neat and pretty! It was my first time going to Viet nails and I'll definitely be back.

I cannot recommend Viet Nails for dip. I have not had any issues with gel at this salon, but the dip manicure I received tonight is wildly bad. It took 2 full hours to remove existing dip on my natural nails and reapply. I asked the tech several times to correct the nail shape, but ended up with a combination of squ-oval, oval-ish, and an odd taper. The dip application is thick, wavy, and totally inconsistent. The top coat was streaked in some places, and some areas were missed entirely. There are particles and small bubbles on most nails, and both dip and topcoat on my cuticles. The edges of a couple nails are sharp and bumpy. Another tech attempted to fix some of the issues, but she said I needed to speak up about the shape (I did, more than once). She did not acknowledge the application issues, and told me if I wanted them to fix the bubbles and particles that they would need to start over. She also blamed the dip powder, but that doesn't explain the terrible shaping, bad top coat, and general lack of attention to detail. At the 2 hour mark, I told her to stop. I paid and left.
