Valenza Salon in Scottsdale, AZ

Sheila took the time to genuinely listen to what I was trying to accomplish with my hair and educate me on what would and would not serve my needs. I wanted something that was stylish and attractive, but as a busy mom, I also needed something that was easy and low-maintenance. Sheila delivered 150%. She learned the quirks of my hair in a single session and gave me a cut that would work *with* my natural hair instead of against it. Her time and expertise were worth every penny.

This salon saved the day! I went to another salon for my appointment and waited 30 minutes past my appointment time without a single word from the staff I decided to walk out. I found Valenza Salon and I am so happy that I did!! I absolutely loved the aromatherapy with some essential oils and the scalp/neck massage. My hair stylist Cassie was amazing and so much fun to talk to! I can't wait to go back, I may have to start getting my hair cut more often!

Cindy is fantastic, salon is bright, clean, and the staff is fantastic . great location, easy parking . I live my haircut.

If I could give this salon zero stars I would. They hook u the first time you are in by taking u on a scent journey giving u a hand massage and great customer service and then over charge you for services. I overheard A couple of the girls trash talking people that come in and should have realized not to go back. Because I liked my color i decided to give this salon another try and figured the hand massage and scent journey were a good perk. I went in for my service and received none of the same treatment, no scent journey, no hand massage and a rushed head massage. She got dye all over my face and did not even wipe it off I had to look in the mirror and take my towel that was around my neck and do it myself. My stylist proceeded to rinse the color out of my hair and did not completely rinse the conditioner out and then put way too much product in my hair because she could not get my hair to dry fast enough. When she got done partially drying my hair still wet underneath I told her my hair felt terrible and she just said oh yeah I put too much product. And said she was done with my service. I checked out of the salon and the next day spoke to the manager the manager was a piece of work as well she said well I will give u a free blow dry! Ha a free blow dry?? Really? I never want to step foot in that salon again and proceeded to tell her and she said that is all she could do.... STAY AWAY!!! I'm warning you if they mess up they won't fix it and they overcharge because they are in North Scottsdale! Never in my life have I had a bad experience with a Aveda Salon! I'm warning you find another one do not go to this one!

What a good time with the ladies at Valenza this week! I desperately needed some "chair time" with Brandie, as the reflection looking back at me in the mirror was more like Hermione Grainger. Or maybe Chewbacca. Cindy and Brandie provided first-class conversation, unparalleled evaluation of my hair, and an unmatched finished product. Brandie carefully evaluated the Wookie-look, recommended gentle correction, and delivered an amazing finale. After being rubbed on, pampered, and laughing until my sides ached, I let these amazing ladies go home for the night. The next morning, my mane was a reflection of nothing but pure artistic talent. I am proud to be an "Aveda girl" and even more proud to know the fine ladies at Valenza who value customer service, professionalism, and sheer talent. If you see me wandering around Scottsdale, I'll be the one wearing the t-shirt that says "Hair By Valenza!"
