I think there's been a name change to Valencia. I had a manicure done today. Asked for dip. The nail painting is fine, my cuticles and hangnails on the other hand are awful. I mentioned that I haven't had a manicure since before covid and he said "no problem". I expected my cuticles and hangnails to be taken care of during my manicure, and I should have had the underside of my nails cleaned. I also noticed that both techs were using the same tools for both me and the customer next to me, they just pulled it out of the sanitizer that didn't have much sanitizing solution in it.
This place sucks, do not even consider it. Not only are they not nice, but they don't eve do a good regular manicure. The lady didn't even bother to ask what shape i wanted and even after i said square, she did an uneven round job. Also had a ton of cotton stuck on my nails and under the color. Makes sense as to why they changed their name - they must've received a lot of poor reviews. Also makes sense now to me why they have a sign by the front desk that explicitly states NO REFUNDS - they must've had so many complaints and instill that an unhappy client still pay. Sorry but after you shape natural nails down, there's very little fixing you can do until they grow back. I went home that day and redid the color myself because i can actually do a better job myself.
I've been to this salon three times. My first two experiences were great! Very friendly and did great work. However, I went for a pedicure two nights ago and I was one of three people in there and the three employees inside were talking about their clients to one another in a foreign language. The moment I was totally turned off was when she loudly announced to her friends how much I tipped her! So unprofessional that I don't think I'll be back.
They did an amazing job on my nails. I got a pedicure and gel manicure. The pedicure was a great experience especially because they have massage chairs so while you're getting a pedicure you're also getting a massage!
I really wanted to like this place but even after making an appointment I had to wait 20 minutes. I finally walked up to a technician who was playing on her phone (as were a couple of others) to see how much longer it would be and they finally got me in. I wish that was the end of the bad experience, but my nail tech took a gouge out of my finger. I've been cut a little before but this was a HUGE gouge. She apologized and I understand accidents happen but it really hurt and it continues to hurt. Will never go back to this place.
